Where are the Beasts?

I am a new player. Well not entirely new. I played a LONG time ago. But this doesn't matter.

The game makers/moderators/whatever need to make a serious change. I am incredibly annoyed, confused, and infuriated over this-

The Faery elite is a "Beastmaster". While I have no problem with the unit being named a Beastmaster, I am confused as to where these beasts are. How can you be a Beastmaster if you don't have any beasts to control?

Now my KD tells me that Faery Horses are beasts. And while a small Faery may view a horse as a beast, it is still a horse. A Human Knight rides a horse, but he is not a Beastmaster.

So what I suggest is to change the name of the Faery O-Spec to "Beast" rather than "Magician".

This would solve two problems. The first being that the Beastmasters would finally have Beasts to master. The Beastmasters would be happier this way. And I wouldn't confuses Horses with Beasts (Horses are Horses).

The second being that the Faery O-Spec wouldn't be laughable. I mean seriously, an army of magicians attacking you? That is super lame. Especially since they are 4/0. If you made them 2/0 or 3/0 then OKAY, magicians would be fine.

All of the other races' units have names that are both cool and make sense. Beastmasters need beasts and Magicians need to disappear.

They control beasts and attack with them, that's why they are elite! You just don't see them listed, but the beasts are there fighting alongside the beastmasters.

Also, having beasts and beastmasters as military units would be too confusing. I accidentally trained strongarms instead of slingers, and they only have the first letter in common. Imagine how many would make the mistake of sending or training the wrong unit when they have the first 5 letters in common.

Magicians are cool, maybe you need to play more RPGs.

Okay you make a fair point about the confusion with using Beasts and Beastmasters.

New solution- O-Spec = Sprites, D-Spec = Druids, Elite = Pixies.

Problem solved. No more wimpy Magicians. No more banging my head on the desk when I see Beastmasters without Beasts.

Magicians are not cool. Aside from the well known ones, most of them perform at children's birthday parties with semi-laughable "tricks" at best. In fact, I think most of them are pedophiles. Why else would they be around children all the time? Illusionists are quite cool. Magicians are lame and couldn't beat any other Utopian unit in a fight. Not even a Horse.

They make themselves disappear. That happens in this game when they inevitably get themselves killed. I'd love to see a Magician fight an Axeman, Archer, or Troll. Magicians are a joke. You may as well throw mimes in there too. Same thing.
