I would give up any amount of acres if it'd lead to me being able to move on and fight another war. Don't understand why you'd decline that. Jerks aren't going to crown this age, so might aswell just bend over. In fact, I'd offer them 3 times the amount of acres if they'd leave me alone next age aswell.

Excuses is a part of diplomacy but even more so of internal rationalization, so I don't blame AMA for finding a casus belli, whether it's Jerks holding weapons of mass destruction or something else. This is not so much important for the outside world as it is to create a sense of injustice INSIDE the kd that needs to be rectified, thereby rallying everyone to the same cause to "avenge" the wrongs done to them. Every indidivual might know that what they're doing is not kosher, but they will never en plain publique communicate it and thus the public opinion will remain that what they're doing is right.
