So, a gnome SoM will be 100% accurate, right? Which means the total modified defense at home will be reflected there with 100% accuracy? The time troops are away will be 100% accurate? And so on?

Is it not because he cares for a game he plays?

A person can rant about the imperfections of a game.
A player finds a way to take advantage of it.
A guru tells people about this and how it can be used to their advantage.

No offense to anyone, the first impression I get from the number of posts being destructive is like a child being told to change from his bottle to a sippy cup. Such a fuss for a small change yet it's still serving the same purpose.

Only about a quarter of the destructive criticism at least have a reason for being so. Tell them WHY it's bad rather than compare it too something that's easier.

I agree that it is unfair to the mages but we haven't even heard what ELSE they can do. That's is, what I believe, the reason for this thread. To gather ideas to help.

    thanks for the games change.

i had question for the game developer.

How do we attack in next age??
Do we had ways to find out enemy exact def when attacking?
HOw does random factors affects the attack option?
How to calculate Off and Def next age based on enemy intel we got?

Since you moved CB to thief part, explain to us how its works..
we dont need a game that we donno how to play..and guess or flame around..

Putting Chastity at normal relations is a hugely abusable thing, and why the devs didn't make it hostile/war only to start makes me wonder.

I still don't fully get Chastity... As mentioned earlier it means no peasant births, correct? So its basically storms, but a -100% birthrate instead of -15%. So you don't even need a plague+storms+chastity combo to really hurt someone.. chastity works by itself, the other two don't add anything to birthrate that chastity doesnt cover.. Unless I'm missing something explained about it in the past 25+ pages...

Storms are not -15% birth rate. What they actually do is KILL 3% of your peasants each hour. So combined with Chastity you will LOSE 3% pop every tick (same as Storms + Plague has done for years)....

Does Natures Blessing defend from Chastity also now?

    also

    Please respond to this:
Are SoM-s taken by Gnomes now 100% accurate and we can rely on defence given there to attack, or we still need to combine it with CB?

I strongly recommend you to do the following:

-Skip this CB and CE change

-Clearify what Chastity does and how it works with NB, what it costs etc.

-Tweak Avians and Dwarves(they're to strong)

    -Next time you decide to try out changes like CB/CE;
post it in the middle of an age so we could discuss
    it before you implement it!

-Delete Gnomes if you add Haflings

-Make the game stable before implementing new ideas.

and just a funny personal idea to end my post; Dragons
should have a treasure! A bonus to those who contribute
in slaying it. Perhaps % based. If I send enough troops
to slay 15% of the bird I should get 15% of the treasure.
A prov that doesn't contribute gets nothing!

Treasure could be: Honor, food, gold, increased birth rates for a period,
runes, spells you don't usually have access to etc. Or perhaps
access to a new spell called Dragon Scales who will work like Greater
protection, just a bit better. There's no end to the possibilities. :)

It is no fun to play a game when you don't know the rules and have no way of learning them

Artisian being nerfed just to make Mystic and Merchant looks better isn't going to change much of a thing. I would rather Artisian stats stay and nerf Dwarf's BE to +10% instead.

On the other hand, the new emphasis on the Thievery Age makes DarkElf Rouge an attractive choice where you get to use the 'Invisibility' spell and pumped science to get the bonus of the Halfing/ Gnome. It is the best of both worlds (Thievery and Mystic)! The reason is because since Artisian is nerfed, running DE Artisian pure attacker with TOG to sustain economy is not as good as age 46 anymore.

And I am unhappy about Halfing being the new 'DarkElf' for next age. That Race is totally imba!!!

    Q) IF CB (SoT) is random, then how random?
    A) It depends on the ratio of thieves you send to the thieves you have.

    Q) What is Chastity?
    A) A spell that suspends Births

    Q) Any other changes?
    A) We may tweak some spells potency

    Q) so sending 1 thife if i got 1 thife will give me 100% accurate intel?

    Q) don't u see something's wrong with Chastity? , i's a multi spell that will only be used to destroy the age for random players, make it hostile/war atleast.

    Q) what spells?

Chastity is pretty strong out of war and a province killer in war time.

Combined with chains, meteor shovers, massacres and fireballs it will be very troublesome, since it cannot be countered with NB like Stroms and removed with it like plague can be. It is a brand new challenge though, nothing to be complained about in "war" times. Out of war it will be a pain in the rear though.

As for the rest of the changes, I find them all ridiculous, and the way that dev's paid no attention to majorities feedback when doing them simply made me think that this game is not worth playing anymore. I wonder if these new changes will bring in new players or not. But it sure drives old ones like me away. Maybe it is the idea who knows. A lot of newbies complained that; while old timers are around they cannot compete with them and enjoy the game. Thus driving old timers away may save the game from their grasps and open it to new players and make it profitable again.

From a company perspective loosing 4-5k old timers is way better than losing the game completely. And thus I understand it if it is really their aim, although it pains me to leave the game, it is their investment and they have to work their way to save it. Lets face it old timers, "we arent needed anymore and this game is not our commodity", the ones who owns it should try and save it the way best suitable for them.

Gnomes are too weak. They are good for nothing (neither a good attacker, mage or thief). Please fix Gnomes before starting the game.

Avians are too strong with that +30% gains.

Funny! youve been playing way too many fb games! I like it!!lol. it would be cool to get some reward, honor perhaps, for slaying dragons. cant see it happening. now the only incentive to killing a dragon is getting a new dragon...

so when are the final changes to be announced so we can decide if we are going to bother playing or not?
