Land Crown is a good indication of a kingdom's ability to acquire and protect the resources that it owns. In light of this, networth becomes a secondary indicator for success. Ultimately, it also depends on which crown the kingdoms themselves intended to play for.

Land > Honour > Networth
Sorry Foggy, networth is very much transferable. Land makes up a large proportion of a province's networth, for example.
