so it replaces the ad space banner for 40 credits of whatever you want it to say? like dreams V pulse or whatever and pulse makes it say "dreams sucks" is that the gist of it?

At the bottom of their kdpage you get:
This kingdom's inhabitants gaze forlornly upon this banner

and finally the top banner ad on the throne room is replaced with the banner you select.

I think personally think that the below, should be viewable by everyone in the game

I'd do it every now and again if: 1.) it was the KD banner instead of the ad space and/or 2.) the price was dropped from 40 credits to say 20.

Hateful or otherwise offensive? Surely taunts are mostly going to be offensive or could be taken as such by somebody? That will be the main problem with this feature, someone will pay for a borderline 'offensive' banner and get his account suspended and no refund.

I second this, especially if Bishop is in charge of determining what is offensive. He's already quite happy to delete accounts without properly checking into why they tripped the auto detect 'features'.

As an aside, is there anyone to keep Bishop more in check? He's rather abrasive for a moderator.

I still think the price is a bit steep, and I wish it was slightly more annoying/spammy especially at the price point.

when combined with our epic war banner it is very win... i just wish it was embedded into every page so they had to deal with seeing it in the middle of the screen all the time...

Enable an audio taunt for 100 credits that plays whenever said kd views my kd page! I'll never get attacked again

40 credits is ridiculous for this. why not try to make cheap features first, generate SOME money, then try to go for the gold with stuff like this. sitting is cheap, wonderful and worth it. its the only time ive spent money on in this game for.

changing race and personality in game and having to restart your province anyway is another waste that no one will pay for when they can just delete their province and start over in 24 hours...ppl need to think about what others are willing to pay for when a free option is viable...a lil off topic but still worth noting.

I dare bishop or any1 for that matter to come forward with the result of how many people payed to use this feature over the course of 1 age. If they can obtain it for us I would be interested to see or hear just how much money this brought in...

Make a big annoying chicken appears on the middle of the Throne page and some kingdoms will buy it.
This is just a game... text messages on bottom/tops of the page would be ignored easily.

Bishop, I see sense on the way you defend the system, but many players are already telling you they will not buy it unless it costs at least half less. Maybe it's worth to halves credits cost suggested and have 4x buyers.
Also, you can make the cost decrease according the number of days kingdoms choose to "buy" a banner for the other kingdom.
Like:
1 day would cost 15 credits
2 days would cost 20 credits
4 days would cost 30 credits
7 days (the max) would cost 40 credits

I think a lot of players would fear getting in trouble for what they put up on the banner. It would be a very fine line between witty and offensive/ban. I know there is only so much labor, but it almost seems like a banner approval process should happen before it goes up to ensure that no one is deleted after the fact. If I'm going to pay for something to go up on their page, I want to make sure I don't then get in trouble for it.
