Prov Sitting - Min time.

Hello,

I personally think the 3 day min time is pretty lame, I have paid to have someone sit my prov because I was going to be away for that day and we are in the middle of a pretty intense war. But now I am back I cannot access my prov for another two days.

If this was a free feature then so be it, but I've paid for this and think the 3 day min system is naff.

I don't mind paying for 3 days but then at least give me the option to end it earlier when I want to.

you still need 13 ppl to play the kd and you need all 12 other ppl online to activate sitting it so it provides zero benefit since you have all 25 online anyway.


how about. you get same amount of sitting days/age, but if you activate sitting you can reclaim ur prov at any time with min cost of 3 days payment and sitting allowance. not that i see anything wrong with op idea anyway

so reread my last post and answer the question. how is it abusable in any way. you mean that an active prov could get an advantage over a less active prov because he can be bothered to let his kdmate sit his prov? the horror!

It isn't abusable!

If you make it so when the "sitting" is taken away that the prov cannot be sit anymore for 3 days afterwards then what is so abusable about that? It still means ONE person is accessing the account at one time regardless of the time zone.

We don't want people swapping for a bit while they go to bed/have dinner/go out to the pub. The 3 day minimum is there for that reason.

Like I said that would be totally impossible if you make it so that when the ownership is handed back to the orinigal owner that the province can then no longer be accessed by a sitter for 3-6 days from when ownership is handed back. Sure for ONE day they may have the luxury of being able to be there 24/7 but after that no more, especially if you put a cooldown on when the next time the province can be sit.

Fallow we do not sitting to be a no-brainer that you use when you cant be bothered getting up in the morning. It should be a meaningful decision to give up control of your province for a period of time.

But I did have a meaningful reason... We are in an intense war and I was going to be away for like 26 hours for that war, to me that is a good enough reason to get a sitter in...

I would like to have been able to get my prov back after those 26 hours but I can't now, which is pretty lame... If the system was in place where after I take control on the province that the province can no longer be sat for 3 days afterwards then that would be fine! How could that possibly be abused?

You haven't once acknowledged the suggestion at all so far, you talk around it but not about it!

Suggestion:

Make it so the province can be re-accessed by the original owner after any amount of days, but as soon as ownership is returned the province is under a cool-down period of 3-6 days where that province can no longer be sat anymore.

How could that system possibly be abused?!

I understand your reasons but when an alternative to the reason is presented which still provides you with the protection against what your mentioned above then why is that not considered?

The solution I suggested allows for one day sits if need be, as is needed in some cases... If I am gone for a day and a half that is a long time if you're in a big war.

Putting the 3 day "sitting" cool down in once the province has been handed back to the original owner prevents people abusing the system, perfect suggestion and should be considered no? Unless you can see a good reason for it not to be implemented, but all you do is keep mentioning your previous points to which I keep mentioning the perfect suggestion to resolve that point.

You should have knew the feature was for 3 days when you did it. no where does it say you could reclaim it after 26 hours. Why go into it without knowing how it worked fully ?

It was an assumption I made yes a mistake on my behalf but now that it has been made apparent I question the reasons behind it.

There will come a time where I will need it again in the future and would definitely prefer the system I suggested rather than a min 3 days of givin up your prov.

But my suggestion isn't to fix my assumption, I now have that knowledge and won't do it again unless I make sure I'm going away for 3 days, but hell I don't always go away for 3 days, nor 2 days but sometimes 24 hours, or a 29 hours. Why can I not then get a sitter in? I should be allowed to do so as I have a geniune need to... I am not going to the pub or sleeping I simply cannot access my prov for 26 hours...
