Game Needs More Good kds Competing

@Anri - Simians used to be a kd worthy of note. You used to be a kd who would compete with the best of them. You used to be able to hang with the best of them. You MIGHT still be able to, but we'll never know since you choose to spend the majority of your time on kds who shouldn't require your attention. Ever since your multi-notice blew up in your face you've taken a step back from the good kd that Simians used to be. I don't say these things to try and "embarrass" Simians or anything, but rather snap you out of it and get back to being the cool kd that you guys used to be.

As far as your vulturing Mercy, a kd who is trying to rebuild it's reputation as a force to be reckoned with shouldn't be wasting it's time vulturing a who just got beat because they happen to have Absalom in their name. You can make all the excuses you want, it's just stupid. When Simians were at it's prime it wasn't coming up with good excuses to pick off the scraps. It was taking on the best of the best, no excuses.

Like i said earlier, we did challenge Mercy when they were #1. Now we harvest them cause they did some stupid moves. Its how it goes. We harvest them so we can get into ranges of other KDs to challenge. Nothing strange with that. Plus we having players such as Dharan and others claiming they are superior to Simians. Why wouldnt i farm them? We played this age exactly like intended. We challenged #1. They did not want to fight. So we challenged #3 instead (sanctuary). We lost so we proceeded. The only reason we hit Acres was because they double hostiled Jerks which is our oldest ally. After we had targeted them it became known they were Acres and by that time they had started to retal all ready. Im not folding down cause a KD starts to retal and i am not backing out from a fight when im helping my friends.
We then got vultured into hostile and beat Slaves. We also challenged pewpew early age and lost to them. Thier orcs ran us over rather easy and it was a misstake to take them on. We now FARM Mercy to get in range of warring some of the best again. You can sitt around and fart with you faery KD and beleive you make this game a better place or tell others to make it a better place and sitt there and judge all others when you are infact doing NOTHING yourself.

Mind your own KD and i mind mine. TY

If you dont want Mercy to get hurt or farmed for waving you then dont make an example out of them so that Simians get to farm them...

EDIT: You want more competition, then a KD like Mercy should not go inactive, get farmed by TFC and merge with another KD all while trying to be in t10 and still have a guy like Dharan telling my KD they are superior to us. lol

It is ridiculously easy to get into top10, you dont even have to try. however staying up there is the problem as I find life up there to be boring, wars are scarce and bull**** level is +10000. To those wanting kitties up there fighting for crowns and whatnot, all I say is look at our name, do we look like we are interested in crowns? :)

Also palem, we tagged some time ago, sillnarch just decided to have a lolbadger instead of a lolcat in banner today!

And I mind the game, which includes your kd, because I greatly enjoy it and right now the game sucks and it's because kds like yours who could be SOOO much better and you choose not to be.

And it should not be. But if a few other great KDs put in an effort to be in the top 20 next age, maybe we could change the stage, make the top 10-20 not boring, not full of BS and NAP, and ripe with wars.

We were randoming 6k acres per day. Warring you would only have been beneficial if you were a contender we needed to take out. Simians is not, and never will be, a contender. Pulse was a contender, we went after them.

Wouldn't it be great if a number of great KDs who intentionally sandbag themselves in land to avoid the crap of top 10, instead all go for it and bring a new climate to the top 10.

So much love for cute cats in this thread :) I find it weird that anyone else feel it's in their interest to tell me what to do with our kd, but cheers to everyone who said nice things about our performance!

I didn't read all posts I admit, but basically the assumption for some people seems to be that if another kd play in a way they dislike, it's the wrong way. Many parallels can be drawn to real life where people generally have a hard time to see things from other's point of view, I'm sure you can think them up yourself without me pointing it out. Generally my advice is to avoid thinking there is a right and a wrong way to do things. That said, I share some sentiments, for instance I despise kd's intra kd razing or deliberately avoiding wars that they are not 100% sure they'll win. Since so many points was made about my kd, perhaps we take pride in our win streak but it's not a goal in itself, our last war we pressed button vs. a kd 20% larger who could break all our UBs with 6+ provs and won this "ww crown" (which at least in theory should mean they're good) when we weren't in warbuild cause we don't like to give free waves. We fully expected to lose, it turned out they had 2 inactives which tipped the war but at the moment of pressing button it was about taking a chance rather than taking a wave.

The problem for me with top is that it entails several elements I dislike, and these are related to the people running the top kd's. Sheister pointed out many of these things already. Game becomes different in top, it's a lot more about leaders spending hours and hours doing diplomacy with various people who are all terribly whiney and start to yell about allies and GB and similar whenever their large egos are slighted. Reemphasizing earlier point, this is not about what way is right or wrong, I just don't enjoy that part of this game and no one else of our leaders do either. If I had enough time I probably would, but I work 60 hours a week and am gone on business trips every third week or so and leave kd's to rest of leaders.

We finished 6th last age, and beat Bio, Inso (x2), HoH and 1 more. This age we beat kd's called Strippers, WeHurt, Pyromaniacs. The wars this age were tougher than any war but Bio from last age and a lot more fun due to sharing the mutual goal of winning the war - not trying to wh0re most acres out of it, no badmouthing and when we won we were wished "thanks, great job, let's do it again!" instead of the 100 excuses and BS talk the top kd's usually give.

As for why Abs dominate top, my thinking is that it's because they are led by grownups whereas the other kd's are led by.. something else. We beat 2 out of the 4 abs kd's, and never lost, so one would assume we at least stand a chance in future wars. The kd's competing with Abs decided that instead of even trying to approach us to increase their own chances in top, they threaten (and execute) GB. I had no relation with Abs before, but somehow "the enemy of your enemy" in addition to civil and friendly treatment makes me much more likely to make deals with Abs than the others. If these 'other' kd's (whoever they are) find a leader with some charm and enough maturity to make rational decisions that isn't based on trying to have the largest e-penis they should succeed.

It's basically on topic Palem, and speaks to your points. Simians is an example of a kd like Cats, they war top kds yes, but only to mess with people, never to really compete with them. The kds with that level of activity are the ones who need to man up and make a run. Stop the BS and make the effort to compete for real.
