Game Needs More Good kds Competing

don't shoot the messenger. if you have to resort to hating on Palem to discredit his message, then that's getting rather defensive.

point is, why hasnt there been a back to back crown winner yet, when it should happen once every 10 ages? My feeling is because no kingdom is truly that dominant anymore, and everyone is equally bad. I'd also suspect that there is not enough targets for people to overcome a bad conflict. Hence, people should grow to at least add to the variety of options up top.

I have to kind of agree you with there on some parts in particular your last sentence. The problem is rather than grow and fight back against the larger kds most ghetto's have whined to get game mechs changed to make bottomfeeding less desirable/effective so kd's can simply stay small to avoid the big bad kds up top. As it stands all it takes is 1 bad war and your so far behind the top guys its near impossible to catch up with the huge gulfs in nw

I think the intra razing change was a positive step to try and change this but i think more should be done even if it is gambling on an age of giving huge land bonuses to warring/ ww kds

We might lose, we might not. If I think there's a reasonable shot at winning then we'll declare. I'm just fine losing as war as long as we actually try and give it our best. And that's not bull****. That's a proven fact.

And again, me improving my kd (which I am) has nothing to do with others needing to improve theirs. I don't need to be a basketball expert, or even associated with the NBA, to tell you that the Washington Wizards suck and need vast improvement. Your name is only 4 letters long, so you clearly have no idea what the people who have 5 letter names are talking about.

if you only fight once, which side does that fall into? Makes it hard when the top kds and war kds rarely interact on even terms.

While you have a point there and it wouldn't be backed up by statistics, one could think about it realistically and draw out their odds against the specific kingdom... some kingdoms are simply better at strategy than others and would therefor win most of their conflicts against a kingdom with weaker strategy.

You're right, winning isn't all about setup. However, when you fight an equally good kingdom to yours, who has a better setup, I'd always put my money on the others simply because you're unable to win a war with your setup against organized kingdoms, be that whore or war kingdoms.

Prove us all wrong, war a decent kingdom at the same level as you, and beat them up!

it makes my head hurt to think of what it would take to get a war started with you and, given your statements, how long we would sit with no relations in return. In short, regardless of my outlook for success, you kingdom is so completely not worth the effort to engage, you may as well not even be in the game.

lol I understand WHY kds avoid conflicts with us, I'm just saying don't act like we're a delicate little kd who tries our very best to avoid getting into scuffs. Even when we were in our warrior setup and declaring within a few hours, waving kds who really could beat us, no one wanted anything to do with us. While a very good portion for responsibility of our lack of conflicts falls on us, it's others as well.
