Simians vs Pyros

Thanks for the war Anri, Calle & Co. It was well fought from both sides and I believe there were some mistakes that both sides committed during this war and hopefully both Simians & Pyros can learn from their mistakes.

It was really ballsy of Simians to full wave us into fort when CF has expired and much courage and determination must be given to Simians for that. From what I have gathered from several of my sources, it was probably the best play Simians could do given their circumstances at that point in time. Simians did pretty well the first 24-30hours of war and many of Pyro's hybrids almost went done. Anyone who thinks that Simians cannot war should feel free to test their warring skills out... So unless you have beaten them before, you shouldnt troll them.

They can war and they will own most kingdoms. After the first 30 hours of war, a few kingdom mates of mine and I were pretty disillusional and thought Pyros might have to tactically WD early due to the fact that our hybrids might go down before we can secure them (i.e destroying Simians core). Many external non pyro folks PM me on irc and were concerned if Pyros were to be actually the 1 farming out (and of course the troll Proteus critical flaming remarks :P). Thankfully, Nesta had better vision than me and wasnt influenced and said we will still win the war (crucial war timings -> hours 36- hours 48 of the war).. and I couldnt analyse the position well due to cny celebrations and all.

Well, I'll be honest and say that we hope that war would drag on longer as we were starting to stack alot of acres on Pyros side (Pyro's strategy in this war didnt allow that many acres on our cows early on as they did several core hits on Simians core to help out in core battle). In addition, Nesta province got IP blocked with my province (damn Singapore..) and that caused him to lose quite a number of good hits after 1 NM+NS run a particular province.

If war were to be dragged on for another few uniques, things would really have turned ugly then.

I believe that Anri has made approximately the right timing to WD and I'm not sure if this was influenced by external parties (*cough cough* potential Pyro's future opponents in this age). It was strange because there were no proper max-gains uniques and such. No hard feelings but if I were to be in those external parties positions, I would try to convince Anri to WD asap too. What this only means is that Simians are a honourable warring/whoring kingdom and do not farm out like what everyone has been saying of them. As I only restart utopia 2-3 ages ago, I read that people have been saying that they farm out ever age but this is a clear indication that things are different. Of course Pyros are upset that war didnt last a few days longer, but we will have make do with the gains that we got from this war.

Of course there are other rationales which I came up with on why Simians chose to withdraw at that timing but I do not wish to discuss about them currently.

I do wish Simians & Co all the best for the remaining of the age and hopefully we do not need to be embroiled in any unnecessary conflcit.

To to address some troll posts

I can't tell if it is ignorance or arrogance at this point. Proteus is just being a realist. But keep buying into your own hype core of pyro. I don't believe CJ and Nesta actually believe they can slay PB/AMA or CR. But who knows.

Pyro does suck and will be farmed later in age by either CR or AMA, I've already stated this.

Stating the obvious to all but maybe Pyro.

Thanks for your concerns and advice. Dont worry, Nesta, Myself & the rest of Pyro's leadership know full well the position that we are in. We know that our chances vs CR/AMA arent that great and we know the challenges that we face if we were to war either kingdom. We are not disillusional and know full well what we are facing.

Band of Horses, I hope you do not play in AMA because you are Proteus version 2.0 :( Stop trolling Pyros please. We are here to mount an attempt at the whoring charts after being a notable warring kingdom :) oh btw, I believe 50% of the reason why people dislike AMA is because Proteus is in there.

I hope the Pyro core is this active on the forums when they face AMA/PB or CR. Although I suspect free waves for CF because that is more honorable than a farm war.

Funny thing that people think Proteus is running his mouth, I see it as him trying to give Pyro a reality check that could in the long run be beneficial to them.

Trust me, there arent really that many Pyros core that is actively posting here.
