I tend to believe that most everyone, given the chance to do things over again would seize that chance. While I cannot make that happen in real life, I can use my powers to make that happen in this fantasy work with which we live.

BB prepared well. Although we both knew when the cf was expiring, they stocked gold much earlier while we kept trying to bottom feed and grow at the expense of gold stocks. I think we also ran a bit higher sci on our big provinces so had more sci at the expense of gc stocks. When we finally took BB's recon about 5 days before the conflict, they already had around 200M gc while we were on only about 40M.

Despite that, we had a decent acre advantage due to our furious bottomfeeding instead of gc stocking. We also were able to put up a large faery sage cow and a faery rogue secondary cow shortly before training up before the conflict. They put some extra land on a human and their halfling rogues.

Due to having less prep gc and more acres, we were also a bit less trained up and therefore had better kingdom econ once trained. When cf expired, we had ~1 day of fort left while they had 2 days left. They started by 2x razing our highest offense avian and we 2x razed one of their halfling rogues. We did a couple more razes in fort, giving them unfriendly. When we exited fort, we trad marched the same halfling a few times waiting for BB to exit while fort staying at unfriendly on the meter.

It's too early in the age to sit staring forever and we had the size advantage so when BB came out of fort, we went agg and basically full max gain waved them. This killed their elites sitting at home but also left us open to them declaring and chaining us. They waited a tick and did a couple hits back and then declared and chained. We sent a gold dragon at this time. They didn't send a dragon but had Sapphire started earlier.

When our troops returned, we also chained but it was much less effective due to the wave times and our overall larger core being forced to bottom feed. We also had less attackers to chain due to our extra faery's and them getting 3 of our hitters chained in their free war wave. We didn't have very good chain targets and although we tried to ambush what we could, they had incoming land only a couple ticks after our chain so rebounded quickly. The same issue continues to be a problem. They can chain us right after we send out, but when we chain them, they get home with new land quickly after.

We could hold to try and fix this, but that has problems of it's own. We knew it'd be a problem with initiating, but we felt that pushing the fight was best overall even if staring longer could have allowed us to be in better position for this fight.

Our cow has been able to gain some so far without being hit while theirs are mostly multi tapping our biggest core attackers.

We have an ops advantage but they are running high wt's and cs so ops haven't been as significant as they could have been. tThey have fought well with quick chains and good activity whenever needed, but I think our "random" overall activity has been even better. Flogger has been a beast though and we rarely see him log off.

Thanks for that update ASF! Very good insight to the fight, best of luck (well I wish you slightly less than I wish for Anna Flogger Kendrick)

Thanks for update ASF. Good luck again to both!

Btw, do you want to give your KD a name or should we call it ASFKD henceforth? Might become hard to shake off after it gets sticky. :) It probably already is, but still time to give yourself a proper name!

NW gap seems to be increasing despite better initial chains from BB, interesting
