Come on guys, stop justifying your pretty lame move of not surrendering. I know it is all about pride in your kingdom and you should keep your name as war winners but... damn. Why you do it at all costs? You should have respected Pyro and end it. Now you created the atmosphere around you as a kd which will never surrender and just drag the war. Who will want to war you? Wars should not be won by the kd who has more time to lose and its players have no reallife.

Wars should be won by players who are not willing to sacrifice more for the win, who have an inferior war plan and who whine about it on the forum.

Well then the epic war would have been longer, but in the end we would have finished it. Had been fine by me, then i could have gotten some acres back. :)

Pretty sure it's a case of Pyro beating themselves more than anything else. That is usually the case.

im pretty confident that we would eventually get %50 win, but i agree that it would take around 1-2 weeks.. the deciding factor on how long would be how fast our tms could shut their remaining econ on 2 mystics..

I am talking mechanics of the game more or less. Pyros are big boys and FS is the best warring kingdom around. I just hate nw protecting smaller guys and enjoyed the days of razes destroying land in war.

They won a war because their strategy was superior... that's about it... That's the objective truth, people just refuse to acknowledge Francis's superior strategical reasoning to the rest of this dead server so they come up with stupid excuses, that's objective reasoning, everything else is just BLA BLA BLA. I don't care if you hate Francis, don't like the way he talks, dresses up or makes love to his wife - he is almost a genius when it comes to planning ahead, as expected from a chess player, the sooner you realize this, the sooner we can move on from looking for comedic reasons to argue over.

Yes. Objective criticism. I think I have a pretty sterling reputation of siding with FS when I think they're right and arguing with them when I think they're wrong. I agree that FS is a superior kingdom strategically. I agree that war wins do the talking. I agree that people coming in here jumping up and down about how FS should have surrendered is stupid (and you'll notice that I wasn't one of those people). Nothing I've commented on is in disagreement with any of that.

when you completely disregard a part about us still having chances and say the war was lost because of some other line in the next paragraph, you take things out of context..

please elaborate, because i fail to understand what is bad here.. ive explained myself as honestly as possible, and i stand by it - 'my disappointment in pyro's attitude weighed heavier than my frustration with ourselves'.. we have been friendly with pyro for many ages now, and i found it extremely insulting to see all the ****talk just because we were warring them.. as i already pointed out, i wasnt talking about this because i hold a grudge or anything, but it was a major turning point for us by providing what we had lacked so far - activity and motivation..

I used "We lost" because you were playing poorly and monarchy was considering surrendering. If the monarch thinks the war is over, then the war is over, whether it's "actually" over or not because the monarch is the one that pushes the surrender button. It is your own admission that things were going bad enough that you thought surrendering would be the best option for the kingdom. You stay in war because you think you have a reasonable chance of winning, not because the other kingdom is being jerks. So when you say things like "We didn't surrender because Pyro was ****talking" you're setting an absolutely atrocious example for kingdoms that look to kingdoms like yours for how to conduct themselves. That's all I'm trying to say.

And yes, I'm aware that you've said you guys felt you had a chance to win all over the place, so why not just leave it at that? Why not just take the highroad and let your war win do the "shutting up" rather than "Well they would have won if they had treated us a little better"? As I originally said in the News thread, you're better than that.

i would say its obvious that im not trying to make them 'shut up' or spite them for their actions, i was just writing the full story of the war and the motivation was the most important factor for both sides in this war imo.. there is absolutely no reason for me to try rubbing it in their face while they respectably moved on from that attitude and admitted defeat when it was due.. my apologies to pyro or other readers if it came as so, but its just storytelling without any malicious intent..

i also completely disagree with your atrocious comment, but id prefer discussing it on pm instead if you want to hear further about my opinions..
