But the biggest influence on this age was the large race changes. Certain races turn out to be dominant, and nobody (except ASF AND BART AND BINAR apparently) really knew which those would be until a few weeks into the age.

Emeriti setup is an early age setup, yet to be proven in a late age war, never will be since the setup relies on the fact to get ahead early I guess, correct me if I'm wrong.
Bart your setup hasn't been proven in an even war yet either. Only somewhat even war this age has been Pyro - CR.

It's pretty unreasonable to expect someone to catch up to 6 weeks of sitting in pump mode while you have been unsuccessfully trying to war people in only 10 days but I didn't want to make this a troll thread. I don't understand how this works anyway, since Greeks taxed first, think we only asked them for a couple of days?

More like the Era of tax. Around age 57-60 KDs were taxing out very heavily for different reasons. I was partially part of it and so was CR, AMA and other KDs in the top around that time. Extensions of CFs to be able to war undisturbed became common practice. People needed tax to make up for whatever land they could not get in wars. Some people picked wars, others picked tax system, the tax system is in general far greater since it allows you to dictate the rules and pump better. I really cant remember the word tax being used before this since people more used the term landdrop. I remember clearly one time we wanted to extend CR so that we could be left alone to fight Pyromaniacs, this was okey for CR as long as we gave them land or a war afterwards - I started using the word tax since it was the best way to explain the deal we made to CR and from there i think it just blew up all over the forum, AMA started to tax jerks and other kds, we taxed smaller kds as well and yea, game on, tax on all! I think the WW bonus is one of the more idiotic changes to this game combined with stupid hostile meter that forces KDs into war on 150 meter. Before this tax was not needed because you did not have to catch up on the WW bonus if you were whoring, whoring in itself generated a bit more land than warring did in general, a war was not very profitable compared to be able to just whore. Also the smaller kds had a great chance of fighting back since there was no meter forcing them into a war, you could actually **** the bigger KD really good back then if you knew what you were doing. The way Bishop made the game tax will be around. I tried last age to have most of the top agree to not tax anyone but it really did not work out.

I asked if it has always been like this, if you have some useful info I'd start by using my "real name". First you claim to be from my KD then you fanboy over Emeriti, what's next? I'm sure Emeriti are a good KD but the way things are now if you get a head start you can just pump your early age setup to the point where nobody else stands a chance, not if everyone else is out to get your competition, it's all about the social landscape pretty much.

So my one statement favoring Emeriti makes me a fanboy? And you couldnt see the countless times I have abused them? Hypocrites like you is what is making this game worse. Try to create a troll topic and when people come as bait and troll you back you act like a silly girl whose barbie we stole from her dysfunctional barbie house?

Even that silly girl wont cry as much as you do in this forums. **** I thought only proteus cried a lot in forums. But his 5000000+ ages of crying is nothing compared to what you have done in last 5-6 ages of your existence!

Your post here is not wrong but neither is mine... the post I was responding too left me with the impression they claimed you (people) were asking for 10 days and they thought it was too long. I admit I was reading into the comment (and assuming some things) but all that said 10 days is /generally/ not a bad prep time IMO.

So Emeriti got the lead and you didnt. Whose fault is that? Theirs? Why will they even want to give u 1 additional day when their crown is at stake? You literally are begging for things out here!

Whatever the mechanics would be they used them properly and you failed. But you definitely passed in crying this age!

How can I see the countless times you have abused them when I don't even know who you are? I will take your word for it though, you seem to like abusing people. I don't see how my existence is a detriment to this game. I wouldn't call myself a hypocrite, I always try to stay realistical, if people mention only one side to a story I will point out mine as well, like they say there are two sides to every medal. I created this topic with the intent of discussing the state of the game, I didn't invite you to troll me, even if I did you don't have to do that. What part of this do you perceive as crying? This is just game I like to play, I don't cry over it, I like discussing stuff though, if I see something that could maybe be improved I at least try and see if something could be done. At the moment I play the game as it is, I will abuse the mechanics for what they are just like anyone else playing by these rules, I don't have to be the biggest fan of it though.
