That is not how this all started. I took a stupid hit from Tigress in DD. I blustered at her in an effort to trigger a Yr 5 March 1 war. That is, I demanded a Yr5 48 hr niotice CF because they were dumb. They went nuts and razed me 3x. Thus, I took a pointess learn (sadly some losses of troops on that) and 3x raze. Then my monarch was a wimp and was scarred of them and CF'd them in blank. So, I kingdom hopped and razed. I was the "griefer created" in this case. Now, once all had settled down and I ceased my "griefing" they came back for some revenge (which is fine). What DD refuses to accept is THEY CAUSED ALL OF THIS TO START.

And what does the bigger ghetto do when the smaller ghetto retaliates and then asks for a ceasefire? That is when the bigger kingdom begins to bully in a more aggressive manner.

As far as me? I try to be reasonable with small kingdoms and actually I dislike randoming. When I was monarch I would often times, the vast majority of times, wave bigger kingdoms and even be reasonable with them. Some times my kingdom mates would be unhappy when I refused to push a kingdom "out of range" who refused to war us. Some times not pushing some of these kingdoms out of range would come and bite us... but typically kingdoms were respectful. I think that kingdoms in the land rank of 80 and sub 80 who have 19 to 22 provs are typically the worst in regards to being respectful of smaller kingdoms.

In fact I recall being down there one age after an internal issue and it was like every punk ghetto down there thought since they had more provs then us they would get a piece of us and we just had to accept that. We had something like 12 or 13, or maybe 14 provs and we took a 23 man kingdom to war who carelessly thought they would full on wave us since they outnumbered us and we stomped them into the ground.

So you have never randomed a smaller kingdom then? You random into bigger ones? Or explore?

I have to say I have never experienced this 'bullying' you're talking about. OK you get randomed, maybe get a couple from the same kd... ask for CF and the bigger kd takes it and moves on.
That's generally been my experience over the last umpteen years, I don't know other's experiences ofc.

Edit - Sheister, if someone tells you they are going to raze into your wars for revenge, you either have the choice of a permanent CF with them or you raze them down to 50 acres and keep them there. What else are you going to do?

Why should you ask for a CF if you are being attacked? You have two options:

1) Bend over, lose acres/resources and offer them a CF...
2) Force them to offer you a CF by being a pain in their ass

Just because you're not smart enough to consider alternative options when faced with a difficult situation does not mean everybody has to be a pussy.

DD has a lot of players that are either fairly new - or don't land in the autism spectrum like most of the rest of us likely do.
Play like this is detrimental to the advancement of the game, and only discourages people from playing. Which is why it sickens me that Bishop and his kingdom plays like this. If anything, they should be promoting a style of play that makes people want to *join* the game, not quit.
But this is just another nail in the coffin, proving that Bishop has no interest in keeping this game alive. The numbers will continue to dwindle until there is nothing left..

If you owned it you'd act just like him and Korp, Pillz, Shiest er Schies er whateva his worthlessness, Benjamin etc. Its just for the Drama, to fill this silly forum. Everybody should know by now Korp and Pillz can post any stupid silly worthless nonsense they want. Kendy found out LOL. I miss her , she added LOTZ of drama. I don't understand why she was banned? Pillz, I regret I do not have the massive skull (possibly empty or only partially full, ofc) that you have, so I choose option 3 - let it go unless they are persistent enough to give us ops, in which case they will be used if they don't back off. Not a question of just leaving a CF open till they've had their fill and take it, message to monarch/steward first. I guess I've just found most people reasonable.

Option 2) Just means my goal becomes an acre trade (with the associated costs) just to get them to offer a CF instead of me offering it, as a point of pride. Big dealio. And as that situation will just detract from my overall goals, I don't want to do that.

Off topic slightly but now i do remember that we did experience the situation a couple of times over the years, but not enough to complain about. One kd wouldn't stop hitting us regardless so we sucked it up, and when we were bigger later in the age we returned the favour. I have to say that was quite satisfying, but I wouldn't have dreamed of threatening to raze into their wars. And it certainly would never have made this forum.

Khronosschoty - we don't wave for land anyway, only as an invite to war. I guess it depends what you define as a bigger kd, you mean one you'd like to war? I'm not keen on randoming myself, but beaten up provs sometimes need to put meat on to be war ready. Plus anyone who wants scientists needs to random...

Sheister - now I am quite confused. Why were you hoping to war them in Yr 5 if your monarch didn't fancy them? And if your note was rude what did you think would happen? ( i'm guessing it was if it was filled with bluster?) And when you did your final kingdom hop did you make known to DD that it was done, or were they still sitting there thinking, he's gone to yet another kd and is gonna continue when he's good and ready?

1. Bishop isn't the only mod, so even if he did have an agenda to just allow pillz and Korp to post whatever they'd like they would still get banned by me. Pillz gets banned frequently (mostly by bishop), and Korp doesn't actually break too many rules and he stops when he's warned to stop.

2. Sean and Brian own the game. They're not exactly "unknown" people, they just have no interest in interacting on the forums so they let Bishop do that for them.

3. I know. Part of me wants to believe she's going to drop a surprise album and use the event to promote it, but the other part of me knows that that's not what's going to happen =/

Tell the full story Sheister.. you demanded a CF or you threatened to ruin the players age for them. I do like how you make out that all you did was bluff a litte when we both know you made several threats.

We did not "go nuts" I spoke to your monarch who told me your hits werent' sanctioned and she did not condone your behaviour, THEN we razed you 3 times and CF'd your kd (These razes were primarly because you had continued to mouth off and make demands and threats).

And once you had made 44 razes into our war, you decided you didn't want to continue any more and expected us to just let it go. Saying "Oh I ceased my griefing" after making 44 oow razes is simply your way of trying to make out that we came back at you for no reason.

No you're not, because we didn't take a single acre of land from that smaller kingdom. We razed the target province and would have left it at that. I don't think I understand your point, it doesn't seem related to what I posted. And no I don't think razing into a war is ok, whether the kd is bigger or smaller is irrelevant.

Also as I said before I don't want to do a long post on the subject of a bigger kd hitting a small one for gains as that's not really the situation described here, on anyone's reading of both sides. To refresh my memory after what Sheister posted I looked at the thread again. This is a player working alone, and then Kopr invited him in. I can understand that DD thought he was just going to continue. It really is not a story of a small ghetto being bullied by a big one, regardless of which side you take IMO.

sheister had a similar experience with some ghetto nobody has ever heard of before. They did a 0 scientist abduct and he responded with a trad. They didn't think this was appropriate and retal'd him, which he followed up with a retal of his own. Long story short, he informed them that he would be razing into future wars. And he did. Each time they would CF the kingdom he was in, and each time he would defect and pick up where he left off or wait for their next war. Unable to grasp the finer points of diplomacy, this ghetto decided to chase him rather than work out a reasonable CF deal. So three wars later and several thousand acres razed, sheister was invited into the Republic of Octobrev to help **** with Strippers.

I have the impression from reading here that they think that it was totally okay for them to random a small ghetto and that the small ghetto should of just accepted it because there was no gains. I read that the small ghetto player asked for a year 5 ceasefire (or something akin to this) after doing the retaliation but the big bully kingdom wanted to force the issue because well how dare that small ghetto player retaliate
