In which case, Hobbs may be wrong about having done "nothing".. but he is correct about having done "nothing wrong". Such a response is perfcetly reasonable when faced with threats of death and dismemberment.

If you're hoping to gain something from a kingdom you're trying to diplo with, during a CF, doing things that directly hurt that kingdom (i.e. instructing turncoats how to most effectively harm the kingdom) leaves the other kingdom with less reason to want to work with you.

This is one of the most basic tenets of diplomacy and if you can't grasp that very simple concept to understand why talks "suddenly" became ridiculous and Bishop and company "suddenly" became unwilling to work with you then you truly are hopeless. You are the makers of your own misfortune. You have turned what should have been a very minor conflict stemming from an odd set of circumstances into the potential death of your kingdom.

Is that seriously that hard? If you had just apologized with something like that you could have been CF'd, had everyone move on and this whole thing could have been ancient history, but instead you choose to push headlong into a losing battle against a kingdom with absolutely nothing to lose armed with nothing but your tears and cries of how unfair the situation is; all while continuing to insult and demean a kingdom that you still fail realize you need something from.


This isn't on Sheister. This isn't on Pillz. This isn't on Korp. This isn't on Bishop. This isn't on Samsung. This is on you. You are the reason your kingdom is in this situation and you will either be the reason the conflict is resolved or the reason your kingdom falls apart.

About as damaging as opening the "talks" by increasing your demand from 5000 to 6000 acres (or whatever figure Bishop plucked out of the air).

Pretty sure he took the 6k figure out of the paper summary. I understand you've all got great difficulties with basic reasoning though so I can understand why you would think thats out of thin air.

Funny thing that nobody has mentioned here is how as soon as I enlightened Samsung on the game mechanics.. he came straight to you saying "ABi made me do it".. I find that very unsuaual for someone truly intent on taking you down. I still maintain that Samsung was put up to messaging me in an attempt to derail any diplo. Borne out by the fact that he shared his messages to me with you, not the actions of a true rebel in any way, but most certainly the actions of a stooge.

He was a solo-province with 0 offence. He couldn't even hit us himself when he asked you for 'help'. He made some calls for other provinces to hit us, one did. We immediately got to killing it and he defected. Samsung then apologized for his behaviour, explained that you gave him a list of names to kill, and said he did it only because he thought we were inactive. A few days after that he trained off and began hitting us again.

We had no reason to derail negotiations, and certainly did not require an excuse to do so. We've provided full logs of KD chat, in-game forums, IRC, and the in-game PM's he provided us. Your defence against all these corroborating pieces of evidence is 'nope youre lying you had him kill korp on purpose!'.

You guys wanted your fight.. you didn't want anyone talking their way out of it.. you wanted blood.. and you got it.. only problem is it's not our blood being spilled.

For the record, and you can search this thread, I never made any definitive remarks about disbanding your ghetto until after the Samsung incident. What happens to DD is entirely on your hands, resulting from your supreme idiocy in the mismanagement of this situation.

We threatened nothing but to inconvenience you by hitting into your wars. We tabled 3 separate offers you could accept to get us to lift that threat. It's too late now, because of the Samsung thing, which is what blew negotiations out of the water to begin with. And that was, as I said, entirely your fault.

So you actually decided that Hobbs didn't need to pay anything to Calvin because it'd be more convenient to kill his President instead of reach a deal. Only you failed and now you've got a war on your hands. And you're justifying your actions by saying 'look, now we're at war!'.

No. You sought out a gb with Strippers and you wilfully directed Samsung to help you. Strippers may have already been hitting us, but coordinating with them amounts to asking for them. Just like carefully explaining to Samsung how to kill us and which of us to kill is also seeking help to resolve your problems.

At this rate I would wager that Samsung was itself a multie from DD.

I'd just like to throw out there that at 5k I said the acres demand should match the paper summary as a logical balance and incentive to resolve conflict early for DD. To not understand that reasoning as Abi has demonstrated, proves further that we are wasting our time trying to educate her. Those that do not want to learn will not learn.

we do not multi. and if we find some one in the KD that is attempting this they are killed off or reported. As to the rest, my team knows how I feel about it. I do not need to hang out our laundry here.
