I am aware that Faery was OP this age, but they lost 1 more attack point on their off specs, lost some very important spells, and lost T/M damage. Is the nerf to strong?
I'll have to ask you to prove it, because we have already had people complain they couldn't ambush and the "issue" was that the prov used war spoils.

I see the faery nerf. I also see the faery buff. I don't know what to think of it, but I'll recommend faery for all our T/Ms again, and *may* discourage hybrids again. And I'd gladly war anyone our size that lacked faeries, since I'd be sure we'd win the T/M side. Claiming faery needs *more* of a buff is ridiculous imo.
I would hate to disappoint here, but Faery can be beaten on all 3 aspects of the game. Elf can cast on magic on Faery. Halfling can thieve faery. Everyone can break faery.

^That's why. If you're trying to drop the enemy nw, it's not reasonable to just let the enemy TMs sit around and hoard loads of land/nw while you sit there and exchange with their attackers. As far as raising their wpa/tpa by hitting for land, don't ever criticize someone else's logic after spewing that garbage at me. Go ahead and tell me which one's going to be more effective for your war...

Entirely different effects, and I've never been denied using Ambush against an attack that used War Spoils (unless, of course, they used War Spoils AND Anonymity). In my experience, the game functions 100% in accordance with what's presented in the Wiki - and, if that has changed, it needs to be fixed.Quote:

Stop claiming a WS'd hit can be ambushed. It can't.
Last one I did was back in YR8, so I can't bring it up for you. They're rare (most people don't bother, since they can't reclaim the land), but I have seen them in other Papers as well.
To be perfectly honest, I see no reason why War Spoils should make an army immune to Ambush - that's what Anonymity is for.
Well you can make a separate suggestion thread for that, but at the moment you can not ambush a WS hit. If you did as you claim, we need proof.
