Yes we had a war with Lost Souls that wasn't meant to be a war, but due to the way things played out we were forced to war them. We even told them in war forums that it was unfortunate it had to play out like that... we didnt have fun doing the war, but it had to be done. That war put our relative KD NW back pretty heavily.
We actually recovered from it pretty well with the war with Settlers, since they were like 10%-15% bigger than us if i recall, so we actually ended up back around the 95-100% relative kd nw.
We then prepped harder in the arranged wars with ascension/green which put us around 93% relative kd nw. Then this unfortunate SS war.
So basically the two wars that put us at a bad relative kd nw were Lost Souls and SS. Both decided they would rather start a retal war rather than do diplomacy and complete the diplomacy. That is their prerogative to do, but they have to live with the repercussions, and not pretend that the ball was not completely in their court during those negotiations.

The other thing I just want to mention is that this whole "bullying" thing. Bullying in Utopia is frowned upon but not an actionable offense. Also, doing 1 wave (or more while other kd stalls diplomacy) against provinces that are within 110% relative NW of your provinces is not bullying, and it is not bottom feeding. Those are legit hits.
Now in my eyes bullying is when you hit into a kingdom that is much too small to consider warring you, and they do not hit back and say something like "OK you got your wave in, can we please CF and move on" and then your kingdom says, "nope we are going to just keep waving you until you retaliate or take it to war". Hitting a kingdom, then opening up diplomacy to end the conflict is not bullying.

I know that someone , sometime, somewhere made a set of rules. I know from heresay what they are. But at no time have I ever seen a written up set of rules, nor have any new players to the game and I doubt it for a lot of the players that have been playing for a few ages. These are the rules of the Alliance as far as I know. However none of the kingdoms hitting are members of said alliance. I am not saying they don't have merit. But what are the chances that any of those kingdoms hitting would get the support of the alliance if they were in the same situation. I might, but only cause I have some friends. But if someone hit into for example ruthless war, would the alliance come and raze their opponent? Would you?
I am not making excuses for my actions. Razing into your war was wrong, I was angry and defending my kingdom.
What I don't understand is why bullying is not an actionable offense. While hitting into a war, effects one war, bullying will effect the whole community. Is a war more important than the health of Utopia? And if people stood up and said, we want this to be an actionable offense, why couldn't they make it a law. A system of law is only binding if brought forward by an authority, who is this authority? Is it the current crown holders that hold justice in their hands? Do they rule Utopia? If that is the case , then it would be super awesome if that was common knowledge.

Ok, so a number of people in the FS/BB/Pyro/Crazies/Wsk alliance revealed that they had a little competition to see who would do the most damage to SS, and I hereby announce the results:
The person with the second most number of razes into SS is... looks like we have a three way tie! With a huge sum of 50 razes, round of applause for Fast Convenient from Pyro, Trojan ultra long also from Pyro, and Spaarvarken from BB! Wow, nice job by Protector! That's what we call leading the alliance from the front!
However, the person with the MOST number of razes into SS ... With a whopping 54 razes, it's Giving you the Finger from Crazies! Well done Sir, you win the prize for the most obedient sheep, Congratulations!
Now time for the kingdom awards! In third place, with 415 razes, it's BB's little sister, Crazies! And in second place, with 434 razes, its BB's best happy buddy forever, Pyro! And in first place, with a massive 552 razes, and absolutely destroying the rest of the competition is the head of the alliance itself, give it up ladies and gentlemen, for BB!!! I'm sure they earned their bragging rights with this result, and in turn would recruit many more puppets to join their reigning alliance in order to serve BB and their master, Protector.
