Every one have his fair opponents. Now there come kd like cats for example. They rob KD A. Some one come to ask for CF and you told him to go to hell. You rob kd B and repeat same. Both kds have good chances for win age so they cant bother with small kd like you and try to adapt his strat to your robing. Next age they don't play for n1 and you are there again. Try to guess if they will punish you....and there don't have any reason to make it fair. If you keep rob same kd/province for week or more its make all very personal. They will want to kill you and they have power to make it. Its what happen now to Cats. Try to learn from it.
I'm not saying you need to CF/nap all top kds. None can force you to make it. But there is difference from no CF and constant be in news paper in same kd. In old days system was different. KD A wave kd B right after war and FORCE them for accept nap or they don't stop hits. If you break deal later because you was forced you are dead again because alliance will step in. Now with CFs all is much more fair and dynamic. Diplomacy is 70% from game now in top. If you end in range with top kds learn to use it for your advantage!

This is not what is happening here Elit.
For start let me say I dont play in Cats and never did, nor do I have any friends there. All my dealings with them were strictly on diplo level since we spent a lot of time in same nw range over several ages so we ran into eachother once in a while. They were allways exceptionally easy to deal with and perfectly nice bunch of ppl in my experience.

My point is there is slander campaign going on against them for quite some time now. You are not involved in kd's in question any more than I am but you seem convinced their actions are deserving of teaming up on them. You imply they were constantly, day after day, for weeks in some ppls news ... well I have a problem with that.

Ppl from bio, simians and Inso are in every thread about cats repeating that crap. For quite some time now. They insist Cats are constantly stealing into ACTIVE hostiles. Well I dont belive that.
I dont belive that because time after time ppl from Cats have asked for proof of this and offered to RETURN any money that was stolen from active hostles. Yet that allways gets ignored and rather than seeing proof presented they just go on with their rant about them stealing. Allwas same 10-15 ppl repeating slander untill they start beliveing it themself.

I can clearly see how its an avalanche effect since its obvious here on forums. ie if you rearead this thread you will see ppl blantantly lying that Cats waved Inso into active hostile ... wtf is that about ?? We KNOW that relations were closed ... aight ... I dont have a friggin amnesia to forget what happened just cause you repeat same **** over and over again.

So i tend to take Cats word on the stealing matter and belive them since I have seen first and here on these forums that other side is openly lying and twisting facts, as well as refusing to provide proof for something that is suposedly happening all the time.

Now my personal opinion on the Cats behaviour on the matter last age is they were beeing stupid pricks all along. Personally I would never do that. Each time my old KD happened to accidently end up in top 20 (not often the case, we used landrops to avoid top play bs) and with our presence there in warbuilds and fully trained presented potential threat I allways made sure to nap/cf charting KD's. Imo its of mutual benefit, we dont have to suffer occasional botomfeed here and there and they dont have to fear potential topfeeding retal war and random robs/learns.
Imo Elurin should have done the same, and if his goal was to war charting KD's just go with no timed naps and use ingame CF/notice deal, I am sure there was an agreement to be made somewhere there with charting KD's that would prevent **** thats going on now.

But with all that beeing said Cats didnt do anything wrong short of beeing stupid. All their actions were legit and acceptable when done by top KD's. For any real grevances they caused they ofered compensation.

So I call it as I see it, and what I see is antiabs KD coordinating agains Cats using powerplay and teaming up on them.
Thats the whole story ... flogger, baka, and tools from Inso are badguys here not Cats. You wanna teamup and GB indie KD who have noone backin them up cause you cant handle them in 1v1? sure ... go ahead ... not like it didnt happened thousand time in this game allrdy, if you didnt get gb'ed to pulp your missin out on part of uto experience =)

But if they gonna serve that propaganda **** on public forum and gloat about serving "justice" to Cats I aint gona eat it up and will call it for what it is.

nice attitude, I agree. If you started some type of aliance war against abs or something for lulz I'd be inclined to join one side, for no other reason than to not miss the fun. Jump in the fray and kick some but ... thats allways good.

But spreadin missinformation to justify it, and using others to settle persoanl score against lone casual warring KD is not in the same category with the stuff your refering to. Not even close. Thats AA level of behaviour in my book, not worthy of your reputation.

winning is winning anywhere, in any sport for the vast majority of cases, there are countless instances of titles and competitions where one participant was at some disadvantage and the winner still proudly held up his trophy or wore his laurel wreath or whatever. I am having difficulty sorting out what distinction it is you are trying to make, you seem to be saying that professional sportspeople are inherently more noble than utopia players and would never accept victories based off some kind of unfairness?

I didn't switch my story, you just misunderstood what I said. The community would let them off the hook if they had some good excuse out side of "We wanted to screw with them". Obviously no excuse is good enough for the kd that was robbed. They are going to seek vengeance even if they had a REALLY good reason to stop them.

My point is that true competitors (which I believe was the point of ASF's analogy, "top two..." ) want to compete against the best competition possible. They want to prove, and showcase their dominance. If you rob them of their competition, then they feel wronged too. That said, I don't feel utopia is populated by "competitors". People want to take the easiest road possible to secure success. Whether that's "questionable" play at the top, or ghetto-bashing at the bottom.

Are all athletes "competitors"? No. Are all Utopia players "lazy scum" (or whatever the opposite of a competitor would be lol)? No. I do think you're MUCH more likely to find competitive people in professional sports as opposed to an online, text-based mmo...

citadela01, game is not fair. I'm sure all from you know it. Every one have his own rules and when ppl play different its dirty. If you have power to defend your view you will be right if you dont have power you will be wrong. Its very simple. About how Cats waved Inso. There we have big problem. Technically its was closed relation because both kds had already in-game CF. Same time Cats wave started 1-2h After Inso wave. So its kind of dirty play. Your opponent just send all his armies out and cats abuse his mistake to make CF before his armies is back. Right now kds in top are very few and every one is so sensitive about fair play. No one will accept this kind wave and no one will make it. There come cats mistake. First they made lame wave second they start teach us how: waving kd with armies out gave them advantage. Sorry but its pure offense to all normal people. I'm sure this pissed so many people to.

I dont know how much and for how long cats robed BIO last age but i don't think baka will lie for this. Anri already asked why Cats are in his kd news during hostile with TFC. And we got "smart" reply how its only sn when they robed from Simians?. First i'm sure Anri pissed off a lot ppl in cats so its normal to want to pay back him but its was very clear Simians and TFC are in ACTIVE hostile. So when you are mess with big kds its normal to get attention and reaction. I'm not saying cats are bad. No they are just n00b and for this ended banged. If they know how to use diplomatic there wont be all this problem.

P.S. My few pages early suggestion for land-drop and out from inso range was sure best for cats but none take me serious :(

Geez it was only SN... did you see the irc convo between the 2 provs involved? confirming it was only SN?

There is really noone complaining about whats going on (other than 2v1 beeing lame, but it's not like we didn't think this might happen) but people just want you to stop trying to justify it with lies =) I actually like floggers post on last age, wehre he basicly said diceing in boring drama is more fun, thats a "valid" reason for a FSU mentality. Just don't try to burry it in lies...
