Did I ever say anything about war wins? I don't recall ever saying war wins are most important. VT2 preaches the importance of WWs that whys his BS answer about WDing with land is such a joke. "can you beat my 7/7" lol
And we have made strategic withdraws with positive land gains, doesn't mean I consider it a win, its still a loss, albeit a strategic one.

He had to withdraw because Sully's kingdom had gained the upper hand after days of warring, with a couple unbreakables. VT2 withdrew in order to save some acres, if the war had last a couple days more his Kingdom would have been farmed. So yeah, technically he gained land, but in the end Sully's Kingdom still beat him badly. And since this war was about pride and not about land, well, nothing much to discuss :)Quote:

a real "win" means if the war was to go on indefinitely, the winning kingdom will be able to gain all the land and honor of the loosing kingdom. the loosing kingdom, if smart, might withdraw while they still have +acre, but that doesnt mean they've won
basing a win or loss solely on paper is quite a noobish thing to do. korp if u really play in a top kingdom and have warred other top kingdom, then i guess u've learned nothing
as for the comment on DHaran, why does it matter if his kingdom is ghetto or not? so if hes from ghetto then hes not allowed to comment? and who are you to judge his kingdom?

It all started whan VTnub bragged with his 7/7 war wins last age. Sully publicly challenged VT for a war. They started trowing dirt to each other calling each other in many different ways. The war went like this:
VT's kd grabbed 5.5k acres, while Sully's KD made like 6-7 unbreakables. That showed that VT had no strategy, just grabbed as much he could while the others were thinking ahead.

Since this case was not about positive acres, but about VT's perfect war record, we can conclude that VT lost the challenge even if he got out with some acres.
Of course an asshole like VT couldn't resist without spamming the forum with his point of view, about how he did this and that... but the bottomline is that he WD.

it started when sully's kingdom at like 4.4mil or something bottomfed into VT2's 3.1mil kingdom. VT2 declared.
sully's kd got outplayed badly and lost loads of acres
VT2's kd did a good job early on and his kd proved to be much better. but he also showed his weakness by not realizing that his +acres will soon come to a stop (not due to skill but due to the nw difference to begin with). he then starts bragging about how much hes pwning sully
then VT2's gas ran out. then he realized his true position, but it was a little too late because they didnt take appropriet action to back up their economy
the two kingdoms then exchanged hits for another 2 days, with sully's kingdom gaining a slight amount of acres over the course of THAT period
VT2 makes the correct decision of withdrawing with lots of acres
as for sully's unbreakables, they did not MAKE them. they started out with them. and despite the fact that they have no strategy and no skill its very difficult NOT to have those unbreakables
All above is correct, however is was only by narrow sighted actions by VT2 just trying to 'pwn' Sully which led to the loss. When they matched land size with Sully's kd they should have started pumping a few provs with sols and gc to get that land guarded, and with intentions of breaking the biggies in Sully's kd. Based on the activity of Sully's kd, VT2 had plenty of time to plan ahead and actually win the war, but he failed.

Simple fact, Sully had all the advantage in the beginning to win the war, he mouthed off even before it started, then got pounded to the ground in the first 3-5 days of war, then stared gaining back alittle. Apparently was busy because of work, hence his trash talking in the forum stopped. Then came back just as the war started.
What else is there to say?
lol I said nothing about making up for 1 million NW difference, I only said he needed to pump some offense on a few provs to crack the unbreakables. And if you think that is too big a task then you know nothing of warring bigger kingdoms Ced haha.

Ced, a war starts from day 1 of the age.
If trough the age you don't have the right setup, the right buildings, you won't be able to do your task. In this case taking the unbreakables land. It's not like they are unvulnerable...
VT has a big mouth, but not much more. Not that Sully would have been much better startegically, but at least his KD did what they aimed for: made VTnub surrender.

If they aimed for the unbreakables first in the beginning, i'm sure VT's kingdom wouldnt have gotten the acres victory in the first 4-5 days of war. They would be demolished. Focusing on 4-5 province that requires a day or more to take down because of their size while other province feast on around 90% of your kingdom is not a smart move. For someone who issues a challenge to someone but taking so long to gain the advantage of the war is an idiot.
If Sully thought he won, im also 100% sure he would be running his mouth here right now non stop, or some of his kingdommate. His non existance after the first 2 days of war really sums it up. He was humilated, nothing more.

i dont remember any absalom kingdom ever doing that in recent ages, but even if they did, the only people applauding them would be their friends. and they most certainly wont say they "won" the war
regardless of who got the ww...and like i already told vt2 based on the results of the war he won...had it gone on longer that may have changed, but it did not so although he did not get the WW he did get the land he was after.
Besides it was a smart tactical withdraw....he pulled out right before our next incoming wave...if it is not considered at the least intelligent to take what you can and run then most of utopia is idiotic.
For the record the only reason we had no intentions of withdrawing is because we were getting good gains at that point...even if some of our attackers had to double or triple tap...

There is nothing wrong with claiming victory by withdrawing. But running up and down walls about WW and then claiming victory by withdrawing makes you look like a silly nub who can't make up his mind.
A tactical withdrawal only works if your goal is acres or land. A WW kd taking a tactical withdrawal is pretty much the opposite of what you want to do.

tactical withdraw = tactically withdrawing so your kingdom dont get pwned in the long run!
if ur goal is acres u can plan ur war so u gain a desirable amount of acres and/or honor within the planned time period, but that does not mean if the war drags on infinitely u will be able to win
the only exception to that is if ur kingdom have other plans and cant afford to be slowed down by a war, in which case u r willing to sacrifice the ww to move on
