Ok, I think this is where you guys should draw the line. Forum is forum, game is game, and real life is real life. You are going too far by hitting into him because of a forum argument. It is the same as beating up someone IRL for a stupid game argument. If you're right in forums so be it, but I think by hitting into him in game kind of show how you try to hard to get your theory accepted. Especially so when you gotten his locs from someone else, so much for the location privacy rule.

Even if you do beat him up and PK him in-game, there are so many factors that affect what happens in the game that it doesn't even prove anything, and of all people you experienced players should understand. Lets not try to ruin someone's age...

What does real life have to do with this? These forums are for the game. As DH already said, this is to discuss strategy. It's not the same at all. These forums are to discuss the game we play. We use knowledge from these forums to play the game. You don't use anything in WoW to make you better in real life. I honestly didn't ask for gojete's loc from anyone else. I've had 2 different people actually GIVE me his location, and another was willing to look for him lol.

As DH said, there is no 'location privacy' rule. You aren't allowed to post locations on this board, not even old locations. Other than that, you can give out your location all you would like to. You want my loc, just ask. Ask SK.

I'm not planning on "beating him up". I'm not a school yard bully. What I want to show is that his "HIGH HOMES RULZ!" nonsense is exactly that, nonsense and if any new players think it isn't nonsense, I want to be able to send them to this very thread and prove that to them without a shadow of a doubt.

I'm not interested in excuses, or unfair fights, or any of that garbage. I'm interested in getting good advice out to people who want it and keeping bad advice away.

I just want to point out that palem wants to kill me because he hates me, my strat works, and many war tips i give for the ghetto work too.

His bad faith can be proved in many of his statements.
He for example said that i arranged a fake war, and that i lie about being the type of ppl that like to war and destruction, he basically is just trying whatever childish excuse he can to ridicule me.
So he jumps very quick into assumptions, if he had been in our war, he would know better, but being the ahole he is, he just assumes whatever fits better into his arguments.

You tested it on KDs who do not use good strategy. Saying that your strategy is awesome because its better than the worst strategies is stupid.

There are a crapload of different strategies, ghettos, top, warring, whoring, honor, whatever. I don't want everyone to play just like me, there are strategies that I don't like to use that sure as **** work just fine. you could have played the game for 15 years for all i care, ive won tournaments in warfcraft, age of empires, starcraft , command and conquer and other highly competitive games.

high homes makes ppl be able to build their province very fast and with good numbers, and allows ppl to war very often not fearing slow recovery times, and it allows players to have fun with the game not needing to wait several ages to learn the game.

I rather have fun right away, and be able to war right away, and high homes and the war strats i developed did just that, 15 damn war wins in a row. as a monarch, in 3 different ages, to me thats having fun . And whoever hasnt win wars and has a crappy province after a few ages, i encourage to to try high homes and other of my strats , because its very easy to do and it works in the ghetto where 80% of the ppl in utopia play.

I myself have tested building 45% homes right away, then 20% arms and 20% banks 10% guilds and some farms to pump military.
One should try not to have more peasants than there are jobs, as to have the max income .

Thank you for proving that you don't have the slightest understanding of what I'm saying. It's the high draft % that causes massive damage on overpop, not having a high number of pezzies. A lower draft % will recover faster.

You just said that "...some ppl build them slowly and found good results..." and then in second paragraph after that one said that it is "...not a low process." Which is it? Is it a slowly phased in strategy, or is it not?
Also, if you build it all at one time, if I'm building from my military/science pump build into a war build after I have my province fully drafted and trained, then I can be at full power in 14 hours. Someone who adds more homes will be at full strength in 14 hours + however long it takes to get the pop in and to train the extra soldiers that you're planning to run. That in and of itself makes it slower.

Running the extra pop as peasants is actually better than running them with an 85% draft. Your larger attacking force means that you have less population at home to release/lose and therefore are more vulnerable to extreme overpopulation and PKs.

It's BOL Ordray actually, and I'd never order my KD mates to attack you, however I do expect some of them to do so. In fact a good number of them have volunteered. And you do realize that you don't have to be invited back in if you're PK'd by an enemy KD right?

Well my goal was to make it abundantly clear that high homes is not good strategy advice.

Orday is all worked up because gojete decided he would post Orday's SoT on here.

If he hadn't done that, then I'd never have even considered PKing him. Like I said, it was he who made this a personal thing.

P.S. He will respawn in his same KD if he hasn't been intra-hit, so all that I'm doing is just making a point.

Now, Is it all or nothing? Is doing things in moderation suggested instead? What do you guys think?

I am undead / rogue (its fun running it), thinking about upping my homes from 10% to 20% to give me extra thieves, while maintaining my opa and dpa. Going to drop some banks and GS to do it. I get most of my income from stealing anyways. I probably wont run 75% draft either, maybe 70%.

Seems to me running high houses would really benefit t/ms more than attackers, since opa and dpa really dont matter, its really offense and deffense per nw that matters. Whereas tpa and wpa are what determine your tm strengths... yeah?

Lazy - I'm certainly not an expert on strategy, nor do I claim to be, but I've never nailed anyone for running some homes. It's really a matter of preference and being able to make the strategy stable, whereas a high homes strat will make you look awesome in a static environment, but once you get into the action, you fall apart.

If that's not clear from gojete coming out of a ghetto war at 430 acres and 48k nw, I really don't know what else I can do lol
