Elites or off specs

My KD wants to war in the next few days, I've only been training elites and have 2500 but still have 1600 soldiers. I am an Elf attacker mage. Should I start training off specs or just keep going with elites?

I would start with all elites for offense, and then stick to training specs as replacements throughout the war.

depends on how versatile you wish to be during the war.
if you are willing to give up your defense for more offense, or your defense to help with dealing with dragons, then feel free to build up elites.
however if you wish to maintain defense to force your opponents to send more to attack you, or you wish to keep some of your dspecs around train ospecs (mostly as a buffer for dragon slaying)
yea you might loose some offense overall, and some more when sending them to die against dragons, but they do afford you some additional versatility, and its always fun to mix ospecs with leets when attacking.. just in case someone gets a hairbrained idea of attempting to ambush you.

Yea I am almost fully trained at 65% draft rate. Just can't find anyone to war lol

When your KD plans to go to war; you should pump up asap as strong as possible. This means train offspecs if you dont have abundant money. This will allow you to hit better targets or doubletap. After the war you will have time agian to train leets.

ps. this is assuming your tpa and defence are already in shape.

If you need to be ready asap, just train specs
otherwise, elites>specs... Period :-)
