    Thievery Question

Let's say i have 1000 acres and 5000 thieves. Which means i have 5TPA. If i make an operation with only 2500thieves, does that mean my success rate will only be 1/2 if compared to using all 5000 thieves.

Using 5000 thieves will have double the success rate of using 2500 thieves(I leave the other 2500 at home).

    Am i right? TQ.

Success rate does not depend on how many thieves you send, but your total mod tpa vs enemy mod tpa & cs & wts.

Damage depends on how many thieves you send, but keep in mind there is a cap for all ops. Trial and error is your best friend for the first few ops, then spam when you figure out the optimal amount of thieves to send.

so basically if i have 5TPA. sending 100 thieves and 5000 thieves will have the same success rate.

The only thing is that the damage is more with more thieves.

    am i right?

I think that's mostly right, but there's also a chance of individual thieves being caught or repelled. WTs also increase this rate, so I'm not entirely sure there's no impact on effectiveness when the number of thieves sent is really low.

Correct. But there is a cap on how many thieves to send. You send over that amount and your losses on failed attempts increases. Best thing to do is follow Kuhans advice.

From my own personal experience over sending thieves can result in a higher failure rate as well as increases losses. Utopia angel used to give you suggested thief #'s when you formatted a SoT but I use a Mac now so I don't know if angel still dose this.

    If it's broke, fix it.
    If it's not, don't.
If you do not like the results, change your methods.

Also the numbers are on wiki. They aren't very hard to memorize. Need help with interpreting them?

I suggest reading the wiki, as well, so that you have a better understanding of how thief ops work, and, like csarmi offered to help, I'm sure I, and, many others would to.
