Avoiding waves and wars all age

No, you can't avoid wars, and specifically you cant avoid fights. We declared on 2 kingdoms who waved us with size advantages and won both wars this age.

EDIT:
I think the point I want to make here, is that it's very unlikely for any kingdom to avoid conflict throughout an age unless they have explosive early growth and very good CF deals. Certainly we should not be an example of this, as we only have a few ceasefires in place that we didn't have to exchange hits to get, and those were all offered to us.

It makes no difference. War wins mean nothing considering how many bad kingdoms are around. We have had hostiles before and after our wars.

20 provs was an advantage for us this age, made a large finish easier.

Get out past the majority of the barbarian ghettos and you will find kingdoms who have specific goals. Show those kingdoms you are bad for their goals and you will be able to grow. Be prepared and able to fight or you will be food. The better kd to ask about a "no wave, no war" age would have been tfc last age. We had to fight for our position more than our kd page reflects.

I doubt you got to top 10 by avoiding wars though.

Probably put too much thought into setup for getting merely into top 50. To get top 50 you mostly have to not completely suck and actually try for land

if your kd is semi competent and active you can easily make it to the top 50. u dont have to be good at all, just active enough to attack/grow and know what kds u can actively hit.

if your goal is to make it to the top 50, having like 3/3 or 4/4 war wins will mean u dont get touched, UNTILL u get top 50. then your gonna get waved once a day by actual war kds. having no wars is prbubly better. ie

My question is whether we would be better off next age:

1. unless you think u guys can activly win and get acres from a quick oop war i wouldnt war at all.
2. i wouldn't try for an early war win. plenty of war kds start small and trash worse kds so they can get honor.
3. yes i'd do that plenty of war kds wont do a full wave into u if u do that.
4. big gaps in nw are good. as someone else said having 3-4 GIANT attackers means a few war kds are gonna go ewwww they hurt our t/m so we no war.


Honestly though best advise is:
1. tag no war,
2. dont give unfriendly,
3. if a kd in war range "waves" you do NOT op back, not a single op, fireball, ms anything. Simply msg their king, say we wont war you please move on, and instantly send a cf. It wont work against all kds or if u break into the top 15 or so, but it'll work in the 15-60 nw range.
4. Do not hit kds > 90% your kd's nw. Bottom feed for the win.
5. Do not hit the same person in a kd more than 1 unique in a 3 day period. your just tempting them to get angry and hit back
6. Do not taunt/msg any person your kd hits. we just put 8-9 razes into a guy that msged one of us and boasted about spending gold right before we plundered him and he then hit us.

The Faery Circle was top ten their first age simply because they focused on growth. They had a horrible warring setup, a horrible growth setup, and mediocre activity, yet they continued to grow even after being demolished in war, while everyone else wanted to war and pump.

If you're referring to the Simians thing, they waved us, we stalled them and fb'ed their bank for leverage. Simians got stalled too long for the wave to be as advantageous for them as they needed it to be. The rest is history.
