4) PM YYY again seeking clarifications
5) YYY started dragon and waved us till max unfriendly without giving hostile relations
6) We started dragon and waved back giving them button 1 day later
7) YYY waved again but always maintaining lower hostile points than us
8) 1 day later, YYY still refused to press button while massacring us and oping us

Tag hostile, take names for anyone that hits/ops into it... and hope you actually know how to manage a fight where deep chain is not an option.

TFC *had* to use this the age we were warring as full fairy - some people didn't seem to get it. But an econ control and LL strat *can not* allow deep chains with limited gbp. (Of course, it proved to not *matter*, but meh, it was interesting.)

If they aren't gonna war, work out a cf. Or be super-jerks back for their fib about the arranged war, and raze-kill them one by one. Don't be surprised if someone turns around and does this to you in retaliation, for the next 2 ages. As in... no seriously, don't actually be jerks like that without a seriously good reason... but it *is* an option.

Generally, ya, they aren't required to give you a war. You want one, but if they are sure they'll lose, they are just gonna screw without without giving you that WW you obsess over. So pick on targets that give a better fight next time, yes? You can feed oow just fine, so growth to face tougher targets should be easy.

Dont pm for war, all that does is let them know you are coming. Grab a snatch news, see if KD is hostile, if not set a wave date

Those 2 things indicate they will not press button until they have done enough damage to you and thus already winning the war before its declared

just stop your attacks and they'll stop their massacres.. they'll continue to op you but you can go into fortified to reduce its damage.. and eventually you'll force them to press the button..

Either you don't want to war them, and you stop all your attacks, jump to fort and try to work out a CF or you use your attacks to try and maximize damage, much like they are doing. They're massacring? Then you can massacre too.

I wouldn't say massacre so much as do what you need to do to start disabling their provs.
