Why I've quit
Not that many people will care, but I thought we didn't have enough Palem vs FREE related threads.
Here is a breakdown of the situation that occurred:
- FREE wars Nightmare.
- Nightmare flame FREE in public forum.
- FREE beat Nightmare.
- FREE flame Nightmare in public forum.
- Palem threatens to hit into FREE wars because of his ego damage.
- Palem hits into FREE vs Plaidovia.
- New age comes, Palem threatens FREE again.
- I pm smerjcd, threatening his kingdom right back. We know their location. They are in war. But FREE does not hit them.
- I decide against spiting them as a kingdom, so I offer a CF (which would reveal our location, but end this conflict).
- Smerjcd threatens to quit because of my initial threat to Nightmare, rejecting the offer proposed to send a CF.
- Palem leaves Nightmare.
- Palem shares FREEs location on public forum, also encouraging people to raze into our wars, resulting in 25 players age getting ruined.
- I do exactly the same as Palem, posting his loaction with just names, resulting in a threat to Palems griefing 24 hour old province.
- I get banned, the thread gets closed, nothing happens to Palem.
- Some random person joins Palem in razing into FREEs war.
- Palem justifies his actions by saying we nearly made smerjcd quit, with his actions risking an entire kingdom quitting.
I am not quitting because of Palem, I am quitting because of the fundamental flaws in Utopia his actions have given light to.
Administation:
- A public representative of the game is encouraging toxic behaviour, which makes the game almost unplayable.
- Forum mods can break the rules as they please, regardless of the consquences.
- Players highlighting problems with the game/rules/mods get banned, with the threads closed.
Mechanics:
- A player, kingdom, alliance, community have no way of dealing with individual provinces who only exist to grief.
- You can get a province capable of quint tapping land def chainees, up and running in 24 hours with the new OOP changes.
- They can be raze killed after the war, but they lose nothing, no science, no team mates, no wars, no anything. How are you supposed to deal with griefers of this type?
It is bad enough losing a 2 week old province, the problem will be tenfold later in the age when huge wizards and science are lost.
With no power through mechanics or administration, I see little point in playing the game in its current state.
Keep up with the griefing Palem, keep trying to justify your petulant behaviour, it is so healthy for the game!
