Just because I'm arguing against what Israel is doing, doesn't mean I support Hamas. Just because I'm arguing against the killing of Palestinian civilians, doesn't mean I'm supporting killing Israeli civilians. That is a serious misconception.

However, should Hamas switch to hitting military targets, they'll have my full support. Why? In my views, Palestinians are in the right [it's their country], but Hamas is wrong [killing civilians, without giving it much thought]. If they switch to military targets, then they become freedom fighters.

If Hamas will also stop using civilian population as human shields and will follow the rules of engagement I will agree with you completely.

Israel already took all Israeli civilians out of the Gaza strip. I hope it won't be long before we'll take all Israeli civilians out of the west bank too.

If you refer to the entire state of Israel as Palestinian territory then we'll never agree on that.

Israel got this territory from the UN which controlled the area at the time. Mistake or not, it has been made and can't be undone.

Since atm they're both wrong in one way or another, none of them have my support. Since Israel tried to be on the moral high horse, it got my criticism. If a Palestinian [or one of their supporters] creates a thread to applaud Hamas sending rockets into Israel, I would criticize him too. Those are my views and if you don't like it *shrug*

I don't have a problem with your views (once you explained the misconception). Criticism is good when it's done in a sane manner.

I truly believe that Israeli forces act with high moral. If I thought otherwise I would criticise them as well (just like I criticise the illegal settlements).

Israel CHOSE to act like this months ago, long before Hamas fired any rockets. Germany didn't plan this, so if we compare these two events, the germans were much nicer. And they even spared the women and children, that's something Israel can't claim to do.

I see no proof presented to back up your many posts, starting with dates and events continuing with casualities, further to analysis. It's at least weird, if not outrageous, that in 60 years neither side found a common ground to make peace, while most probably the civilians from both sides would want peace if you'd ask them, in any given moment of the day.

Every time the sides would settle on an agreement, one or another has to do something to break it. That can't be random. Don't tell me that Israel couldn't end it in several ways like staying behind UN borders, or that the rich arabs didn't had the money in 60 years to help palestinians to live a decent life. Hell, the bomb shelters could have been built in 60 years even digging with teaspoons. It's clear that both use propaganda to show their side of the story, and both have material interests for the continual conflict.

So in fact according to UN, the civilian deaths are smaller than the average in post WW2 conflicts? Didn't you just claimed the opposite?

i support Israel 100%. Kill Terrorists, and if civilians get in the way kill them too. 200 dead children= 200 dead potential suicide bombers. Life is cheap there, that's why they have 8 kids per family. Civilians are fair targets since most of them elected Hamas.

Let's not forget 9/11 and how they Palestinians celebrated the death of 4000 Americans.
