I wasn't claiming that your ego was bruised because you didn't crown. I was claiming that your ego was bruised because they used tactics that trumped your tactics and the fact that you didn't come out on top bruised your ego, as you objectively lost to an opponent you considered inferior.
See, you're really painting yourself into a corner here. You believe utopia should be played in a certain way and if people don't play that way then they're clearly inferior. You're stepping into "War kingdoms are just as good as the whore kingdoms!" territory.
A whoring kingdoms goal is to finish #1 in land/nw. Not only did they do that, they did it by directly competing against you, as opposed to say a HoH situation where you were a helpless victim of circumstance. I'd also like to point out that an Absalom kingdom complaining about using allies to to help them is beyond laughable.
Let's wrap this up with some facts
-You're a much better player than I am
-Sometimes you lose, and that's OK. You don't have to whine like a petulant child about how it wasn't fair.
-Good players are able to think outside of the box and evolve their strategy. They don't insist that everyone that doesn't play the way they do isn't good.
-I'm more than happy to change my opinion when I'm presented with evidence and arguments of why I'm wrong. I'm much less likely to be swayed by hissy fits and insults
