Jaz it is not a set strat its more of a base that you could develop your own off. Based on your activity, skill level, kingdom goals etc. Something similar could be run for Hu/Merch i have not put any thought into Hu/art<-- i don't know any1 who is running that. According to world stats only 27 ppl are.

you will like sage, but you need patience, they are usually hammers during the last 3 quarters of an age once their science is set properly into place!

No, it's total unless you do a ton of sci research. 600 BPA/category would be pretty ridic (ok, that depends on how many categories, true).

But once you have over 1k BPA libs are pretty worthwhile.

Below 500 bpa human probably shouldn't use libs. Above 500 bpa an good rule of thumb is to run x% libs at x00 bpa... aka, 5% at 500, 10% at 1,000, 15% at 1,500 bpa. As a new player to human sage you should probably run a few fewer libs - they are tough to get full use from, unlike TG or rax etc. But add some by the time you hit 1,000 bpa, at that point the first 5% will easily increase power. (Non human, multiply all values by 1.7, as it takes 69% more sci to equal the same bonus.)

Unusual plan for human sage: keep abnormally low DR to continue pumping sci right up till hostile. While in "pump" mode run around 50% DR with second highest sci setting, keeping army home so elites defend. (Pump elites slowly too). When preping for war (or getting a surprise hostile) aim for 55%-60% DR, mostly as def specs (so your def is ok when you send all the elites you pumped earlier). Also switch the 10-20% banks back into rax/TG.

Please note... this requires you be ready to switch gears very fast. The low DR doesn't hurt OPNW and DPNW much... but growing is almost impossible without starting from a higher draft. Also note, strong kingdoms can not afford a prov that takes 2 days to be in war build - only mid kingdoms and gettos can have someone start off "half out of the fight". The big compensation is that you will have higher sci than everyone - so one you do get to full strength, it will be 110-120% of most people's full strength.

Many advise keeping a higher DR and plundering/learn while OOW. I never see good plunder targets, but if you can find them, this is even better as then you have no conversion cost/time to your war build.
it's vs. its is ambiguous - from now on I'm attempting to use the proper possessive it's, and the contraction 'tis. (Its will just be the plural.)

    It's 50% or bust.
    Vines commands it.
Catwalk's crusade for legalized cheating was a stunning success, with ghettos and low-tiered teams everywhere losing their wells of knowledge to better kingdoms in the process.

Step one: replace everything that works.
Step two: blame the predictable epic fail on outside forces.
Step three: keep the community informed that no progress has been made since the last update.
Step four: thank you for your patience.

    Books per acre = bpa

Vt1 i was talking about in protection. Once he has reached his max population the need for accelerated peasant growth is gone. The acres can be better served elsewhere.

Homes are protection. Where do you go when it's cold and rainy outside?

As the ruler of a province I'd like to think you'd show at least some consideration for your population; those guys in rax are lucky - imagine after a hard day's work on the farms you had to return home to a stable.

Please tell me you're not running stables.
