The hatred between Earth and Utopia has never been more than what amounts to sibling rivalry.
Catwalk's crusade for legalized cheating was a stunning success, with ghettos and low-tiered teams everywhere losing their wells of knowledge to better kingdoms in the process.

Step one: replace everything that works.
Step two: blame the predictable epic fail on outside forces.
Step three: keep the community informed that no progress has been made since the last update.
Step four: thank you for your patience.

    I've been wandering sideways.
I've stared straight into the sun.
Still I don't know why you're dying, long before your time has come.

its really sad that this is what it took to negate all the earth vs utopia community rivalries. I'd offer you all to join us too, but having played earth for some years myself, i remember most players to be strictly anti-utopia. (I once called the new set an 'age' and got promptly shunned by my alliance for the entire set!)

Earth was a great, long enduring game. I always wanted to return one day, now i guess i cant.

    R.I.P earth

    Rival forever ;)

I found Utopia after playing Earth way years ago. I really don't understand how OMAC is making any money by constantly buying out games then shutting them down. It seems like a very retarded business model.

As I said in the thread over in the Earth community, I was a player of Earth years ago, and I greatly enjoyed it. It is a great shame that Earth: 2025 is coming to an end. It's truly the end of an era, and I fear another era may end shortly after, the era of Utopia. As it is Utopia is pretty much in a free fall to it's death. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I miss the Mehul days. Mehul at least didn't seem like he was actively trying to kill the games, unlike OMAC/Jolt.

I remember playing Earth way back before I started Utopia, and I am sad to see it die.

Honestly Spikey, I think Earthers were only anti-Utopia because we were jealous of all the attention Utopia got. Once Mehul created Utopia, it became his baby - and Earth became the red-headed stepchild that never got any attention. We were pretty much doomed from that day.
