TM a Prov with "HOSTILE" in KD Name

I notice that this has changed in recent ages. Before "Hostile" tags kept some people out, but not everybody. Now, people rarely hit into hostiles. Perhaps its because I went from a "ghetto" to a "top kingdom" and people near the top are better sports, who knows...


If it's an irresistible grab, like you'll gain a HUGE number of books, then I say it's worth the "bad form" and hit them. If it's just for land it's generally not worth it. There are plenty of other targets for land and resources that aren't in hostile

Perhaps, but they've also got nothing better to do than retal you, while hitting into hostile means the other kd already has plans so you're less likely to see a retal. Perhaps an angry message with something along the lines of "YOU STUPID NOOB! YOU DON'T HIT INTO HOSTILES YOU GOD DAMN FAG!" and then you hit them again when they're in war and get an even more vulgar message and you laugh away...or maybe that's just me...lol

that's why I put "top kingdom" in quotes Palem! If we were a real top kingdom, I wouldn't have bothered with the quotes!

In past ghettoing i often use it as a threat.

I ask for CF
They Keep hitting
I tell them to stop hitting or next time they are hostile i will hit them when they cant defend themselves

It can go both ways sometimes they are angered by the threat and hit more, sometimes they decide they are better off to take what they gained and move on... most of the time you get a snobby message about how your a noob and they move on...

Ok - I'm with you guys on "Hostile - Stay Out". I can respect and live with that. But please tell me that "Rebuilding - Keep Out" does not carry the same weight?

The problem is to many kingdoms fake tag hostile while doing randoms then they moan when they get randomed on.

people moan about the 'top' doing w/e they want. i had 2 'ghettos' randomming my kingdom while we tagged hostile and even after we pmed the prov that hit into our hostile asking them to please stop, they hit again. only way we stopped it was by pming the kingdoms monarch prov and sending a cf.

so hitting into kingdoms tagged hostile works both ways.

yes it should come down to sportsmanship but im afraid in the real world it doesn't.

when in doubt, CE a kingdom thats tagged hostile and see if they really are in a hostile.

one nice point was some kingdom intelled mine and then saw we were in a hostile so they pmed us saying "sorry for intelling, we were going to hit but we see you in an active hostile" - manners cost nothing and goes a long way.
