Sorry I'm late to this discussion.
This is only my 3rd full age of playing, but I ran a pretty good halfer/cleric last age, and running high homes would have been suicidal.
When I did get chained, and I did quite often, it was hard enough to keep attacking without high homes giving even more overpop.

Gojete, not to jump on the band wagon, but have you actually tried your high home strat with any sort of cleric?

i ran high homes with avian warrior before cleric existed with great results, i had trad march times in war of 5 hours , i could hit around 16 times a dayand stuff, one has to know how to use homes, you start with homes but if you get chained you get your land back and rebuild onto something else, onles you can be an unbreakable you dont generally rebuild homes in war.

But if you are big and no one hits you, high homes will give you nice eco boost in war and all that , an avian cleric is a perfect heavy high homes attacker , you are looking for 120 BE and 25% barracks for maximun attack time,s 20% guard stations 10% watch towers, thats what you need with a cleric in war basically
    - Get the best out of your gameplay, go 45% homes minimum .
-Successfully tested over 13 war wins in a row and many that number of non war conflicts .
    7 out f 7 war wins age 50 guarantees.
    High homes = good

the 1v1 was to silent killer, not you palem.

Anyway i dont farm ppl, we destroy them normally, because we dont want to gain acres, to keep small and fight ppl similar to us, no use in getting into the top 60 just to be trashed down by kds with 25 ppl that can log in all the time. We fight kds like us who have provinces log in once a day, and so on.

This can be with an attack time below 6 hours. Just make sure you hit 4x per unique.

    odd, I'm defending Gojete :)
This is my province. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My province is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
My province, without me, is useless. Without my province, I am useless.
I must attack hard with my province. I must attack harder than my enemy who is trying to pk me. I must pk him before he pk's me. I will...

Well he mean't like 16hits, not 16 attacks.

But lol.... With full war bonus, for a province to reach 5hour attack time without race/pers benefits requires Rax to output approximately -50% attack time. *wink*

Not much left to build on if you got 50% homes + 30% rax built. But it sure is a pro strategy.

So thats 55% in rax, gs and WT's. Then add your 45% homes = 100% built. What about guilds, towers, farms? You are avian, attacking full time, hospitals are needed or youre screwed fast. Where to fit them?

But I guess magical homes can do it all!

he said cleric so hospital aren't really needed. He plunder 24/7 so the food he takes should be enough to keep him going.
wow that is two people to agree/back him up. (i may have to remove my cadet status)
I don't see how he gets the 120% BE though if we is PK roughly ever 2 weeks.

Missed the cleric part. Ok, lets say he doesnt need hospitals. I still wouldnt go to war with 0% farms even if I had some food surpluss, risky business.

He is still missing guilds and towers. Now you can argue he has all the runes he needs from plundering oow, but as with food they can be easily stolen from him.

I dont see why you defend a build that has 45% homes, no guilds, towers or farms in it.

I'm not defending his build it is a big pile of steaming ****. The no guilds and farms probably has something to do with his 6+ pks last age.

very rarely any of the magical numbers he post are achievable some are only achievable with some amount of science, science I am sure he doesn't have.
Also we says he can plunder 14mill+ GC in a day/every day unlikely but if he did what the **** would he send it on.

I have shown massive disapproval of the tactics he uses and even offered him a spot in my kingdom to show him how things work.
I also have disbelief that someone has 'done' as much as he has he played every race/pers combo under the sun and 'made then work' using high homes.
However it is not painfully apparent that he is an idiot, I now seldom read this posts now (as i don't have the time) let alone respond to them.
    Vines made more sense.
