Princes have -6% population, -11% OME, -11% income, -16.5% WPA/TPA and 5 less votes than last age

Bish, I genuinely believe Faery has been gimped too much this age. I know a TFC memeber whining about gimped faeries probably isn't new, but tbh I'm not particularly excited for this age.
We can't war effectively at all. We can't attack properly (lordy we've tried!) because we have no generals, and with lesser honour bonuses we lose any edge we may have had against elves/halflings with their massive WPA/TPA bonuses.
I agree that SOME effects of honour should be nerfed (pop, income etc) but not WPA/TPA effects. An elf or halfling a/t/m (whichever combo) was already better than a faery at their respective role and will still acquire huge amounts of honour - except a faery TM is now at a MASSIVE disadvantage versus those people because we've not only lost 10% WPA/TPA as a racial base, but we also lose half of anything we get from honour.
I think that this will grossly unbalance the game, and am not at all in favour of these changes. Having one of the two upcoming nerfs is acceptable, but in combination they just make faery a very undesirable choice for this age - especially considering that last age we completely lost the ability to attack, too. Now we can't really do anything apart from whore.
Except... we can't really do that properly either with dice coming out of the explore pool.

War Hero still is a noobtrap. Faeries don't seem to be an attacking race, at all at this point. not sure why u want to run them as such. Guess I will rune dwarf sage for a fun ghetto age. You should make plague easier to cure. I have did 18 NB in a row, ran out of mana and didnt cure plague.

Also, why replace Chamberlain? Why not add Steward, so that we have 3 "leadership" positions. Heck, let us make as many Stewards as we'd like!

Anon is only -10% gains? You must be joking. 10% mil sci is easy to get and with orc its basically ignored. This is a complete near non-penalty. Who is going to attack non-anon. Really. So lets just delete the spell and have no one know who is hitting.
Faery - the honor nerf is too strong. Given them back MS if you are going to do that. nerfing the sabotage to 20 from 30 makes no sense.
Elf gets QF back and pays no price for it, so its going to be an all elf server (snore)
Humans are abusive with that much pop AND ToG and the rest. Should have removed tog and given them something else.

Faery nerf to honor is good and needed, tpw/wpa nerf more than made up for with pop boost
Doubt it, we have never had an all one race server - not even close.
ToG is intrinsic to them, if they are so good you will be running them?

I recall having read the -10%, I guess I must have read that from somplace other than the thread. I will retract and reserve judgement. Unless the thing has gain reduction great than 30% though, its just abusive.
Bishop, you have nuked faes because "everyone was required to run them they were so OP" to replace them with humans that now everyone will be required to run.
No, you have never had a 100% age. Clearly my statement was an exaggeration. We have had ages where basically the entire server was orc or undead for attacker before. look for this age to be elves out the wazoo.
seriously, next just looks sucktastic to me. I know nothing I say is going to change it, so I am just venting out my crud here in the hope that I may have the motivation to play. reading the changes thread has sucked much of the desire out of me.

Not sure i agree with you that the pop boost made up for tpa/wpa nerf. I mean I LIKE the trade, but the increased time its gonna take to train up might have been worth the lower pop/higher mods. Not like fearies really needed an early game buff or to take even longer to pump wizzards. Nothing like waiting as a feary needs to stall and pump 10% more wizzards.
How is it just abusive? You sacrifice honor and gains for not being ambushed. Its a fantastic change.
Faeries aren't nuked, hyperbole does not help your point come across. Its fine if you don't like that changes, but over the top exaggeration will not help you (of other players) one bit. I cannot stress enough how much this sort of posting will be flat out ignored in developer discussion.
50% isnt close to 100%. The pop boost helps them a lot more early age when they need it and the honor nerf sorts them late age where the issue was.

I think the whining about faery honor should suggest the fundamental problem with honor as a mechanic.
Faery is fine right now for what it is. They are incredibly prone to being hit out of war by any race that can put up good attacking numbers. Of course a lot of the problem could be rectified if the insane offense mods in the game were toned down, instead of making one race especially buff on defense.
No one is required to run hu-gnome. Anyone who does run human is either a top kingdom, or a farm kd. I'd rather have provinces that can actually attack, defend, and do stuff.
