WT's are for tM's yes.... or else a halfer is gonna see you with TD's and you wont have any wizards for jack. You will just have to contend with high losses on ops. you arent a faery you can't run only TD's and expect to cast.

I guess it depends on if you're trying to be an attacker or a T/M.

First of all, you should have more than 15% armories. You're building an army from scratch... you'll need all the reduced training and drafting costs you can get. Armories are one of the best buildings you can have OOP.

Also, why 20% Homes? Seriously, there are far better buildings than homes OOP. And there are far better buildings than homes in most situations.

Their best bonus is increased pop regrowth rates. In war, it helps prevent underpop and, thereby, helps you capitalize on incoming land so you can build up econ.

Not only is 20% homes excessive for this purpose, you shouldn't need + pop growth in protection.

    I'd sub 20% homes for 5-10% homes, 25% armories and 20-25% banks.

    1. If you're playing a/M, you should NOT have thieves dens. Take watchtowers instead. If you're playing T/M, keep the TDs.

But no true "pump" build should include WTs or TDs. Run CS 24/7 and (unless you're in fort/OOW) spend the gold you get and you won't be bothered by enemy thieves.

    2. If this is a pump build, you need more than 10% banks. A pump build should have 25-30% banks. And, if you're pumping sci, schools.

Unless you're trying to perform offensive thief ops, drop the TDs for WTs instead.

And I don't get the obsession with homes.

This is all assuming your honor maintains at Lord position and home/tool science constantly researched..
His numbers on raw WPA are decent. If you're playing a/M, run 2-3 raw TPA, and get extra elites.

Equal homes and banks are perfectly fine (and ideal in most cases) for pumping as T/Ms. I'm not suggesting people aren't running the numbers themselvse before giving suggestions, but my advice is do the number crunching yourselves and ignore what others might have to say. There are a lot of misconceptions floating around that keeps getting repeated.

Budlightyear got good points on the rest tho. :)

You really want to be helped dont you? You should try pm'ing somebody for their advice instead of posting sarcastic **** that makes people less likely to do so.

Is it worth for t/M Elf to run 10ish% TDs besides WTs to reduce losses while NSing heavy attackers?

If you will be theiving heavily then i would say yes, i play a/M personally so i am not certain. 10% Watchtowers wont really do much for your province anyway - i am aiming for 25% WT's. Have you played Elf much before loky?

I think you could run both dens and WTs as an Elf T/M. Homes would be important for the T/M variation.
