Our big provs all run thieves, there were obviously situations in past ages where we had to transfer money from larger provs to smaller ones. I don't see how this is anyone's business as there is nothing wrong with large provs, feeding up your kd, pumping books, or whatever.

Specifically encouraging other kingdoms to rob someone just because they chose to play a certain way is wrong. If you don't like it then don't make cfs but you yourself want to pump while inciting other people to rob Abs kds so they have a worse pump than you do.

The only time I have actually seen an unfair way of transferring gold was when its done in between kingdoms. The most recent instance of such was when flogger (pulse) farmed gc to Bio in age 55 so they could double us. The gc transfer did not help much as we still farmed Psyhward and BIO in spite of the gc transfer and doubleteam but it was nonetheless lame.

Kuhan yes I am in. If you want we can both transfer our money to ASF and he will pay the proceeds to winner.

At the time Elit mentioned it in this thread it was already common knowledge amongst players that it was happening. The fact that Elit broke his own code of ethics is probably because he was getting more and more pissed off at dorje accusing us of abusing a game mechanic, when we weren't. Not a good reason, I guess, but people do strange things when they get pissed off at being falsely accused.

Typical abs vs. non abs thread with lots of smack talk. I've seen a lot of X vs insert-Abs-kd-name-here and typically has the same result, Abs kd wins and thread goes quiet. I don't expect this to be any different.

I find it emberrasing to see taunt banners twice this age directed at Absalom having 0 thiefs on multiple killers since I play at HoH. Even if there is no gold farming going on, the game is in bad shape when killers can run no thiefs without a worry in the world. Like was mentioned earlier last age same thing a couple of Absalom killers with no thiefs. Maybe it's just the way they have always done killers?? Maybe Proteus can clarify if it's a constant theme or just a rare occurance.

The game is broken the competition is lame.

Don't give Proteus too much credit; it's an old strategy that's been used for many ages, probably just not the same way they do it now.

I'm also guessing they intra kingdom steal surplus to fund sciences, as with the income a human cow has it should generate enough cash and have spares even after buying extreme ;p

Situation in paste ages was similar to what Sanc/Havoc did, but perhaps you learned from being mass-robbed 1-2 ages back when you sat on 0 thieves for a longer period of time.

These taunts are actually pretty hilarious. Wonder how often they'll be used ;p

One reason it's more effective now is that cows have silly income. Typically you will have +1m hourly income (with tog) on extreme science...what are you going to do with that money? Running 50k thieves lowers your hourly income by like 300k (7m a day). Even if some ghetto does rob all your cash, you're still going to have 200m spare after pumping come wartime. But better to let your own kingdom take it.

So we have a conflict of stories here, you telling one side here and another explaination previously you must understand how i find it very confusing :)

It costs me like 20m to retrain to 2TPA say. It also reduces daily income by say 5m. So I presume you can understand why i felt it was worth risk of leaving tpa at 0. I had planned to leave it there for a few more days even after I released to let a guy rob. In end I lost about 25m gc on my prov. But I have released a few others times during the age when we needed the TB to put up a bank easily. It is what it is like I said.

I just wish a KD would not leak me doing it to the entire world without any provocation from my kd.

They were given an advantage in that fortified didn't work as intended by devs and they were able to steal a couple hundred million gc in it. I don't think anyone was saying they abused mechanics...

if what you claim is true (that fortified isn't working as it should), then technically you are accusing them of abusing a game mechanic, especially when jdorje claims they knew about it.
