Q for Emeriti - Is it cool to raze into EoW if you want a CF

Emeriti and Bour panicked after BB war win.
Certain Emiriti leadership had a definite hand in influencing Bour to raze post-war.
Bour did so without waiting for a chance to resolve the situation peacefully.
Talks may or may not be stalled.

Not sure i can give this a full response yet but seems like our kd agrees that if y'all just spemd 1 age honor hunting which i imagine wasnt your orignal plan, i'll retire in peace and turn the kd over to our new guy first time leading. So we have one age without some super kd with 60 ages experience leading and let some of the weaker kds compete, and i can retire in peace and you all can win 6 straight crowns starting next age

As BB has no goals of crowning, at least they claim they don't, for them to make sure emeriti doesnt crown either and start the next age from a blank sheet seems like a good and fair way to go. If flogger/protector isnt able to take emeriti out of the crownrace with diplo, just do what emeriti did when they couldn't get what they wanted with diplo; play dirty aswell. Actually, no. Reading comprehension fail? Emeriti feared for Bour getting farmed out. Bour, as the #1 prov, also feared getting farmed out. Flogger has said in private that he wanted to go for crowns this age after his early success. He took the land ww bonus and dropped pool in post war. He now won't accept a deal that fully restores bb's chances unless Emeriti gives up on their age and won't crown. Only someone blind or biased would interpret that to say that bb has no crowing goals and it's Emeriti fearing for their crown.

The reality here is that flogger knows that emeriti has a strong chance to beat him in a fair war early and even if he won it (so far he's 0 for 2 vs Emeriti), Emeriti would probably come back and beat him later with their sages. Therefore he sees his best chance to crown to overplay this now to try and get the age locked up by agreement in YR1.

We had no crown ambitions and still do not have. We picked cleric to have some fun. After winning that OOP war big, we thought it'd be fun to fight the #1.

i dont think you get to choose what the punishment is, when you sink yourself deep in that much ****..

Flogger, as for your crown count, I have a few points there as to why I think you are being insincere in acting like you don't care about crowning. 1) last time you crowned, you WA'd me talking about crown counts and were very interested in how you ranked in such things. 2) You talked about wanting to quad crown this age. 3) You have talked about wanting to be "the last man standing" many times in reference to utopia decay and crowns. You see Emeriti as your rival to be the "best kingdom left" and them crowning would hurt your claim to that.

Uhm hoi, I already said that Emeriti suggesting Bour force a cf with BB during their post war cf was dirty and that Bour and Emeriti should make sure compensation is given to BB with regards to land, gc, and cf timing to ensure BB is not harmed by it. Emeriti both screwed up in their advice to the #1 province and also in not admitting their ties immediately (or better yet, before there was any problems). That said, Bour immediately offered all land back and interest and more so BB could fight Emeriti fairly or even in a stronger position but BB wouldn't accept it.

Emeriti wanted bour to get a cf with BB and not get farmed. They didn't want BB griefed and their position vs Emeriti changed. In the end, their positionw as changed and so now Emeriti and Bour are offering to repair it, but BB is not interered in just fixing things and instead is pushing for Emeriti to give up the age in YR1.

Bad beastblood! Bad! Trying to have fun in an age is obviously a lie! I'm sure that war was a fake war to farm to the crown and you should all be deleted! Be grateful emeriti - I mean some ghetto with no ties to emeriti at all stepped in to fix the round for emeriti - I mean fix the round for fair play.
