Actually, this is very untrue. Originally, you stated that the internet will not change. That's fine - it won't...and though the Utopian Community is part of the internet - it is quite a small section of. The Utopian Community CAN change. And it starts with people like you making the decision to stop being an ass. This is not an insult - it's just what you have chosen to do/say. You yourself, I have no idea what you're like. But your comments have been that of a total jack-ass. There are others here who are like this, I do not fear pointing out the "truth" as you say it "simply is." But you can bet your bottom dollar that to people here who deserve respect, because there are plenty, that your attitude is not appreciated.

As for the prov going VM, report him. It's illegal to use VM to avoid getting hit. Once reported, he most likely gets booted from VM and you can eat him.

Its a sound advice, do something about it rather than you loser mentality of bending over. Also you can count a experinced player like protector has better grasp of the game than you.

General Thoughts: I almost quit a while back as a new player. So 11 years of this game, you had some tenacity, I'll say. It was people like Piggy, Osaze, Palem, and many others that I won't even continue to list because that list will be enormous... that helped me stay in the game.

I KNOW there is a community of decent people that play Utopia. Unfortunately, cruelty is always more severe than respect. It's always more violent, vile, villainous.

The problem is, the Utopian Community won't change unless either the powers that be (moderators/those in charge) cleanse the forums of the pungent odors of filth, or they clean themselves. We all know the latter won't happen, filth doesn't even know they are filthy. And the powers that be have all either retired, given up, or somehow things that a little bit more aggressive cleansing of said filth is unreasonable. Too hard to draw that line, I guess.

EDIT: Anyway, the point of this was more to say sorry to see you go Palem. Maybe one day this community will be more tolerable and maybe we can all get together again. :)

I did. I played with protector - this age actually. I played a war with him and his Kingdom. got my province 3K acres w/o exploring and made count. The life in a KD like his is easy. VERY easy. You never have to worry about anything. People don't retal even though they should. I made many attacks against provinces that were unoccupied with tons of offense and almost never once got retal'd.

In a ghetto - you make an attack out, and you get hit by 10 others. It's not a complaint, it's just something that those at the top might have...forgotten? Or maybe forgotten the impact of it? I don't know.
EDIT: It's not a loser mentality, it's just the truth of what happens in a ghetto versus a top KD. You saying it's a loser mentality is silly. Protector's KD was cool, bunch of cool guys just hanging out and taking a break from real life. Wasn't really my type of KD, but I have nothing against them. You play where you want to play, I enjoy the ghetto. I don't mind the constant attacks and I highly doubt this is what Palem was annoyed with.
