I forgot about this. It's not a kingdom I wanted to be in but a war.

@ Persain, I never desire war from the point of advantage. I simply have no motive. Thus, I don't pursue kingdoms that leverage positions of strength. The exceptions are visits with friends or to see if we have a spark.

I did a brief stay in Spartans but we are diametrically opposed on method. They were, at the time, low on recruits. This is my calling: to help a kingdom in need. While me and Bart get on quite well, there was some misunderstanding about retal late in the age. Also, they thought I hit someone I didn't which to me indicates a prejudice of nature.( I'm completely peaceful oow and only retal.) There was no reason to stay. I still consider them friends and have enjoyed warring them.

To task, I will not stay in any kingdom that refuses to retal bottom feeders. I'm intelligent enough to know when this can effect my kingdoms t/ms. Since no such kingdom currently exists in both design and doctrine I spend my time in Utopia moving from war to war.

So what's interesting, is that there are times when you can argue that tm is more efficient than raze at doing damage (particularly when a kd is oow and you're looking at 10%+ from tm vs 5% from raze). Conversely, if you're hitting into eow and taking around 2% of the targets land, raze is more than twice as effective.

And it starts to look like the GB is about generating gains, not doing damage or punishing.

It's particularly interesting, and at odds, with other things posted upthread by CP and others in Emeriti. Probably would help to have their story straight.

Yeah, the only reason to dodge the issue is because they intend to keep the land.

Sparta has admitted we made a mistake, we are going to play more straight up in the future (doesnt mean we wont get revenge if we feel wronged, just that there will be no tricky diplo or anything similar involved in getting revenge), we know we messed up even if we do not think we are as bad as ppl flaming us say.

But spartan's having made a big mistake does not give a free pass to other kds to do what ever ****ty or double dealing thing they want. A huge issue here (for sparta) is the bs double standard. Yes sparta needs to clean up and it will. But when emerati gives us written notice that they are going to raze us, then claims we DB them because we drop the now defunct EOA CF, then farms us for land saying they will not keep, then continues to farm us for land even when razes would do more damage and say they can keep it if they want to.... well saying that what they do is not an issue, and that sparta's mistakes are the only thing that matter, is just BS. This is exactly the type of behavior that leads less established kds to think that tricky play is the law of the land at the top.
