    Tbf elite values are fine-ish, just that dwarf took a HUGE nerf. All races got increase amd dorf stayed same off. Same time it lost CS and with reduced sci effects its food penalty is harsh. Dorf need a small buff in BE and MF to make it more viable as a hybrid.

    @maximll joeblogs thanks for sharing your personal experiences. Mine are similar. @bart of the 3 things you listed, the only effective one is option 1. Its a rinse and repeat because its so rewarding. Nerf the gains for these types of attacks OOW, see the practice end.

    What about giving Tog to War Hero.
    For it give Fanaticism and Blood Lust to Warrior.

    I think Tactician can get War Spoils.
    For it give Clear Sight to Rogue

    Elf still hit a little too hard by wages. Maybe drop from 50% to 30%.

    This is the kind of post that can be ignored. CS, ToG, WS, BL are all spells with massive consequences. You can't randomly slap them on something for funsies.

    but truly, you're right, it's a hard hit for Elves, but they have been given a bonus to runes with which to mitigate the gold issue. Use your kingdom mates!

    And how effective do you believe that strategy will be in the midst of war when all runes are needed and gold is being used to fund dragons and to pay heavy attacker militaries? It's not a simple trade as you state. Elves need to be economically stable on their own in war when resources are needed elsewhere, especially if a kingdom is running a group of elves in their set up. You cannot simply rely on your economy through trading runes except when pumping and out of war. It's not feasible.

    sometimes I wonder if people ever considered reading the changes and then building their set up around that instead of picking a set up and trying to convince the devs to adjust their changes accordingly :P

    I do agree though that hitting both magic races with an income penalty isn't great :(
    earlier someone mentioned to make wizards purchasable like thieves...please don't. The last thing we need is to remove more skill based mechanics.

    I don't know that anyone has pre-determined a set-up. The purpose of this discussion to create appropriate balance between races so that a kingdom doesn't have to avoid any one race because of it being under-powered. I agree no one should be trying to sell changes that would benefit a race that they prefer, but everyone should be giving advice on how to make each race viable in the game.

    There are already restrictions in place that prevent starting dragons at kingdoms outside of your range.

    Why isn't there stronger penalties for random attacks that are outside of your range? Make the penalties closer to if you hit into a war. Force all kingdoms to random kingdoms closer to their range.

    Monarch of Seagulls (Ages 49 - 69)
    Monarch of Mixed Nuts (Age 74-???)

    When looking at the changes I have a few questions:

    1 - An orc eating a trad is effectively losing 120% normal acres with the "+20% Resource Losses when attacked"?
    2 - "+15% Military Casualties" on Orcs is both offense and defense?
    3 - If #2 is so, is "-35% Military Casualties" from elves both offense and defense too?
    4 - Undeads "Defensive losses automatically convert to soldiers(Permanent Animate Dead)" does this include ambush?
    5 - Elf "+25% Spell Damage" is the same as Faery "+40% Combat Instant Spell Damage"? If not, what does Elf's influence?
    6 - War Hero's "Converts some Specialists into Elites on successful land attacks (increasing this amount by ~20%)", does this stack with Undead? War Hero last age was about 20% conversion on perfect NW hits. Are we talking about a 24% conversion next age, or a 40% ? What's the conversion % on undeads? Same as War Hero?
    7 - War Hero's "Increase honor gains by generating honor in all land attacks (in or out of war)", does this mean they get war-level honor OOW too? Or are we just talking about a percentage-increase compared to this age? What percentage?
