Well for the sake of 'player base mercy' I'll point out I've learned more strategy from the Suggestions Forum than the Strategy Forum.
This phenomoly occurred when I was browsing the changes frustrated players were lobbying for/against. ~ a while ago ~
To completely understand strategy gaming is to understand that car dealerships know what the Kelly Bluebook is to. The dealerships have to make their money somehow. This isn't to say the mods haven't been or wont be completely honest, but the authoritative peanut gallery can steer a naive player in the wrong direction by giving them good advice.
I'm sure Sparta understands this, but to truly progress in the game you need to know what the top does. You need to understand functionality and natural progression. I see very mechanically sound players every day that'd be superior to my contributions in about every situation but the one that counts. In my experience, I see very few separate from the herd. That may seem cruel but it's not my intention. Comfort in numbers is ok, but it is the herd that is hunted. Fattening the herd, intentional or not, is what the Strategy Forum has accomplished in the past.
I'd like the new team to make guys like me completely obsolete.
