I thought storms killed 1% of total population, but only the pessies died.
I am willing to be wrong Munky. You dont have to be a pro or a vet to realise that straight off the bat that Chastity has to be atleast an unfriendly spell. Can be used by Gnomes to harrass anyone willing to go unfriendly with your kingdom. Maybe make them think twice about hitting you or your kingdom mates.
One thing that hasnt really been talked about though is the orcs, who will actually play them now that avians also have a gains bonus and gnomes have chastity?
Orcs need either the half honor taken away or the -1 to the defence spec taken away. Give them something useful like every attack made does a mini massacre killing about 1% of Thieves, Wizzies and pessies.
Yeah I prolly have, but I've also played this game since the early ages and I think activity should be rewarded. Also if one is set on implementing new ideas; at least make them funny. Increase the joy of playing. The dragon idea is purely based on my aim to get players to understand that it's a team game. Contribution and activity will be rewarded. This CB/CE idea... I just don't get it. Why?

I strongly recommend you to do the following:
-Skip this CB and CE change
-Clearify what Chastity does and how it works with NB, what it costs etc.
-Tweak Avians and Dwarves(they're to strong)
-Next time you decide to try out changes like CB/CE;
post it in the middle of an age so we could discuss
it before you implement it!
-Delete Gnomes if you add Haflings
-Make the game stable before implementing new ideas.
and just a funny personal idea to end my post; Dragons
should have a treasure! A bonus to those who contribute
in slaying it. Perhaps % based. If I send enough troops
to slay 15% of the bird I should get 15% of the treasure.
A prov that doesn't contribute gets nothing!
Treasure could be: Honor, food, gold, increased birth rates for a period,
runes, spells you don't usually have access to etc. Or perhaps
access to a new spell called Dragon Scales who will work like Greater
protection, just a bit better. There's no end to the possibilities. :)

well said , instead of changing a long time tradition , i rather they spent more effort in fixing overdued bugs , just remember it was a disaster when they implemented the new code , they screwed up the old pimp , the angel and pop tons of bug , right now implementing new changes in magic and thievery is going to bring up more bugs on top of existing bugs.

You don't program a game around 3rd party tools. The 3rd party tools have to adapt to the game's changes.
Gnome need no charity or stupid 100% bonus on intel , only give them back +15% population bonus
it used to be a very good helper for kingdom as dragon killer and funding dragons
gnome sheperd , on normal draft you can get more than 65 opa/ 45 dpa 3tpa and that's really garbage
no matter how many spells and thievery bonus it has
give them back +15% pop.bonus so they can play rogue , warior... forget about charity
and let CB as it was , Mehul was a god and he said CB belongs to wizzards , don't destry your god's work
It wasn't me who brought up the irrelevant nonsense about previous changes screwing up Pimp and Angel. There's nothing constructive about just saying implementing new changes with throw up more bugs. So follow your own advice.

i like to kown what Orcīs Gains on Attacks: +50% are good for ?? its ther a cap at 120% os why 150% ??

About orcs - I'm in for giving them some kind of small bonus - they are very weak to ambush now, and that pretty much forces them to play warrior - It's never fun for a race to have really only one choice, especialy when orc is the only race that would really like to play tactician (the extra spec creds), so maybe give orcs immunity to ambush because it hurts them so much (opponent kill lots of their leets for a small price of their own, so it is almost worth it to ambush an orc EVEN IF he is a warrior because u get 25% land and kill some of his leets or extremely little of your own troops). And change the -50% honor for orcs to half gains and losses in honor (that way it is hard for them to get honor but they can still have the small bonuses that everyone else have)
Together with the orcs elves also need some boost, but I don’t know what - maybe ToG (they still need the runes for it so it wouldn't be such a big deal to give it to them, something to help their bad economy)
Gnomes... dont know how to make them interesting without changing a lot... maybe lower the nw of the leet even more? Scince they are no thieve race now (only intel, no damage) then they need to attack to do something, and lowering the nw of leet will make them at least extremely good from one point of view (something they lack right now - I don't count intel gathering...). Wait - they could be the new t/m race with their low nw defence and cheep thieves and the +25% spell success, they will not excell in either of thievery or magic but be decent in both...
Well, I think they really want old players to leave to make room to (very hypoteticals) new ones. The hell if I understand why they consider its impossible to make both, keep anciets, get new ones, but they got their reasons that Reason ignores, I suppose.
So without Gnomes, hard to play that games seriously, and play Gnome will be either EXTREMELY booooooooring, either painful. Non metionning than both Angel and Pimp will probably suffer.
We could all play Blind suiciders next age :p, everybody noobs again :D. Anyway it shows that the good old proverb is still valid.
There is always 2 solutions to fix a trouble : The good one, and the one chosen by guys in charge .
since we have to send thieves in ratios to get decent intel, this means a loss in 5 ops gives more losses in attacks. 600 gc thieves are expensive to replace, so accurate intelligence will be an economy killer.
I suggest lower losses for thievery ops (or intel ops only) or have thieves cost 200 gc instead of 600.
