As far as I've understood this is alliance intervention, at least from the perspective of Pyro. Intra-alliance communications seems a bit weak if FS wasn't even notified by their allies that help war coming. Can happen I guess. I do wonder what the fair play flagship kd thinks of all this...
Not sure what you guys are crying about? Pyro have waved in to a kd that is farming another kd. There is no hostile, at least not anymore. Looking at the paper i see 24 days since FS retaliated any attacks and there is also an open CF offer just sat there the entire time clearly indicating they don't want any more action. This negates the activity of the hostile regardless how you try to twist words.
From what i have read and been told, when this all started, FS didn't want any hostile actions from the word go, they said NO WAR PLEASE GO AWAY, but such was the ridiculous CF proposal of ED (4 free waves and 2 learn waves LOL?) they simply could not bend over to that kind of ludicrous CF offer, therefore they had to do something.
This is no longer an active hostile this is a farm. And ED should probably have made sure they had some sort of CF deals in place with kds around them before they tried to farm another kd like this. So their bad.
Either declare and War pyro, who seem to be equal size to you and would give you a good / fair fight considering 6 of there provinces were killed 2 weeks ago and have no wpa or sci? or get organising some diplo and CF them while you continue to farm a helpless freak style kd, but do not cry that you have been sh*t played because your own arrogant cf demands have brought this upon you and you have not been sh*t played and there is nothing wrong here under the morals of utopia this becomes an INACTIVE hostile the second the other KD throws in the towel, offers a CF and stops retaliating for over a day. How long do you believe you are allowed to farm a kd before another steps in. There is no set rule, its a matter of opinion, but in my eyes, 24h is 2 full waves and thats more than enough.
I wont be checking back here to read any replies, this is all i shall say.
And again, another one that does not grasp the concept of 'payback', nor that the offers given to FS was based on the ones FS gave last age.
lol, KatieR is a biggest nub so far. :( "under the morals of utopia this becomes an INACTIVE hostile the second the other KD throws in the towel" haha.
Someone should probably copy KatieR's post for the next time NestasNubs waves a kd (re. divinity) for half an age
Jwuzi, can you be more consistent in your choice of words. Thanks!
cJ does this mean we have your blessing? :)
What is this "hostile protection" everybody's going on about?
Last time I heard someone claim hostile isn't over was Elit waving Tetley for adding +4h on withdraw wave! Didn't work out that well either if I remember correctly. :)
First of all you should work on that habit to reply with unfounded accusations.
More importantly tho, you are oversimplifying things to suit your needs. There is a huge moral difference between two people having a fight until there is a clear winner and, on the other hand, the winner keeping on to kick the loser in the head in search of some perverse kind of satisfaction. The only real question that needs answering is when does a hostile relation turn into a one-sided farming. It's been made clear in the other thread that there will be no diplomatic solution to this conflict so in your mind the winner deserves some kind of protection from whole server for an unlimited amount of time?
Pyro got protection for half+ of last age. FS got protection for 3+ weeks of last age in the opposite of this conflict....
and I see posts from ED's leadership that they're open to a reasonable resolution today.
And then I see Nesta waving in and indicating that it is in fact alliance action (i.e. that any resolution needs to involve FS as well) -- not just a random wave for conflict.
'Parthenogenesis
But I dont have any offer you are likely to take up on'
'Parthenogenesis
For now...4k honor and one full learn wave, without retals. Then EOA cf.' (they were getting like 1.5k honor per wave, so this amounts to 3x waves roughly, on top of what they took on initial wave)
'Parthenogenesis
No, those are the terms. Or we wait til your meter is maxed out and harvest it anyway. Or you can always push the button. If you take this to war, we would also agree on eoa cf after its done.'
can you please tell me the reasonable resolution part of those statements? ed leadership only says theyre open to resolution today, because they knew theyre wide open to many kds and wanted to look pretty & clean..
So their offer to you was 5% of your honor and a learn wave? Again, that doesn't seem too extreme to me. The bigger issue is the difficulty in extracting honor without removing land with it. Haven't they taken more than that to this point already? Wouldn't it have been wiser for you to take that deal that lose what you've lost? Didn't you take a larger % last age?
Those are the problems :p
can you show me a precedent to that kind of deal? i dont care how it works in the top, but nobody gets multiple free waves in the warring tier.. there is a clear precedent this age, where we moved on for less than a cf but you have been deliberately evading this factual data for many posts now..
Tadpole and Korp why on earth do I need bother to make an account on these forums for the first time since god knows and post a reply?
Tadpole hej ;)
Korp: dags o skaffa sig ett liv eller?
Fyi Im sitting on a bar on Costa del Sol Spain and get these strange messages that Im mentioned on these board. Im on vac. Get a friggin real life and leave me and my alone. Its a frigging joke all of you. Dont u have lives to take care of?
You moved on for less than a wave when you didn't know who eachother are. That also happens in other places. Don't know who opponent is, extra nice. It's an opponent with a grudge? Less nice. I can tell you from looking at their logs that they didn't know who you were.
Precedent? Sure... Simians/Pew last age was at least 2 waves.
As a semi-interested bystander can someone explain how / why zauper became the ASF of this conflict?
I've also been given these logs.
In which you:
1) Seem to ask for and get a free full wave (did you have hitters other than your undead that had troops home?). Did you even WANT to gain land on your elves? They're mystics, seems like gaining land without conflict would be counterproductive for them..
and
2) Suggested the deal (which runs counter to your prior statement that you never do that)
we always move on after taking a free wave, and that is the common practice where we live.. i find it hilarious to think you can hide behind a hostile as long as you make ridicilous demands to prevent your opponent from accepting it..
'Parthenogenesis
But I dont have any offer you are likely to take up on'
read this and tell me parth wasnt making the offer so we wouldnt accept it..
Awesome stuff, hope you're enjoying the Sun Jon! :) Should pop on IRC at some time or another and say hi. I don't idle all that much these days, but who knows, we might get lucky! :) As for my forum activity, well, I'm isolated in a hut in the forest of Halland for a month or so - need some evening entertainment now and then (avoid 'lappsjukan'') ;) Don't worry, I'm sure it won't last.
As for mentioning and bothering you, sorry, but I didn't. Nor did I (or Korp?) ask anyone to bugg you on your vacation. Didn't even know you still play(?) in FS. I think you better direct that annoyance of yours at whatever kd scrub pulled you from the sun and the drinks ;)
Is it time to change the definition of hitting into hostiles?
Step 1. Get a forum post
Step 2. PR so your side looks like the victim
Step 3. Talk about stopping hits and ops
Step 4. Have ghettos hit your opponent?
logs?
This is all I see:
And the issue with that, is that it is when you offer 750 honor/day for the CF. Which is a lot more than you just indicated.Quote:
[11:06] <Francis> obviously, 'just cf' isnt a real offer at this point
[11:06] <Francis> you need to make A LOT more than that
