We had no CFs running out. If anything this hostile cost us about 15K land in lost opportunities to wave and hits into our hostile.

but you are not the kd I spoke of directly, I made a generalisation of that kind of KDs, like yourselves... Pyro, wSk, Jerks, TheAncients, PewPew, Simians to name a few, I'm not saying they can't win or wouldnt sometimes give good CF for free, but they were not the usual suspects to grow top3 yet all fought hard and were notoriously hard to get lenghty CFs from, not claiming it's a wrong thing or bad thing for their kd, it just made diplo a nightmare at times, even if you were a friendly.

Thanks hawk, yeah so the game has actually grown since age 66, guys based on the Uto logic of completely overreacting to the tiniest trend the game is booming and we should be at 100k soon!

Basically it's leveled out and things are pretty constant so the doom and gloomers can go frick off.

IMO, I think there is no hostile existing between them once Pan entered war. Of course, ppl can argued that once 48h of war (assuming min time) is up, plus another 72h of eowcf, Pan will still the so called button which is non existent as well because they are way OOR.

With that say, that is left with 12 days. I doubt Pan will be able to get in range to take back the button on Spartan. Even they could, they aren't in the condition nor good enough to win. Even a normal player can visualize that.

But yet Spartan kept argue on the fact that hostile isn't over as Pan made that threat. I find it laughable. That kind of threat carry no weight.

Furthermore, it was Pan who got wave by their current war opponent and they declared, not the other way round. I don't feel that this is dodging. They are waved by 2 kingdoms..one which is with button and possibility of winning, another totally oor with no button, I find it logical to declare on the in range one.

I just find what Spartans had done is very lame. 1-2 ages ago , after winning the war against FREe, they waved them again to secure a CF because FREE is in range and will mount a threat to Spartan goal, that is understandable. I don't see how Pan posed any threat.

She should stop making threats and CF then? Any sized province can land FG etc. Panthira is a threat to Sparta as long as they have a province over 0.5rwpa. Only provinces straight out of protection have lower wpa than that. You figure out what we should do next.

There is a rule which has been followed a number of times. If no hits are exchanged for 12 hrs then PI can notice Spartans and hit them as well!

The last precedence when a Kingdom kept hitting/razing was between ED and FS. ED kept hitting FS and was not ready to stop it even when Francis was giving empty threats to Parth. That is where BB intervened with a threat of alliance action.

Spartans is doing the same thing. Not agreeing to CF and keep on hitting CD.

Francis wasn't giving empty threats. If you want to get technical stick to the facts. FS ceased hits and later on Pyro hit ED. It got called a double hostile by almost everyone except for the parties involved. BB even had to pay reparation.

My understanding is that Sparta is offering a CF and CD declining?

The parallel would seem to argue it's hostile due to CDs refusal to accept a duration CF. Though there's not a pre existing grudge here.

And the kds were #1 and #2 honor in active competition with each other. Not seeing that here either. So maybe it would go the other way.

Same is right now for CD. Spartans is offering them something that CD is not interested to buy.

See I know that you cannot read and process at the same time. But I am clearly not talking about double hostile. I am talking about how kd 1 kept hitting the kd 2 cos of some grudge and it was stopped with top interventions.

FS and ED were not competing for anything that age, it was the AWar age. Maybe you mean/mixed it up with the age prior don't know wasn't there age 64, joined FS age 65, but that was a 1v1 conflict so an entirely different example anyway. What difference does it make even if it were true?

You are trying to show Panthira what her mistake cost your kd ?

To be fair, I've never seen the likes of CR etc back down if the small KD continued with threats, why would they? CR has often forced the CF by brute force if need be, and as long as the CF offer is there and the small refuse to take it, it is still classed as hostile if we go on past engagements...

Why should/would Bart stop the hostile when a fair CF has been offered, you can not demand free acres back etc. from a huge disadvantage and threatening with 17 days hostile, that indeed means its still hostile and Sparta/CD need to close it first.

And yes ED/FS had history before their 2vs1 from the previous age, BB ended up paying for Pyro for the double, and people were nearly all in agreement that as long as meter was hostile both sides it was still a hostile, while a few was saying no hits 12+ hours was no longer, that said there was no "decent" CF terms to be hard between FS/ED while Barts last CF seems fair, that is ofc up to CD to judge but again can't claim its not a hostile while meter is near max and threatening.

Im going on past engagements that was decided highlighted in these forums.

I'll start by saying i'm no fan of Bart or Sparta,


but...

Sparta go looking for acres for a cf, we might not like it but its part of the game, CD refuse and fight back to a point that the meter is that high and/or that they are all out of range of sparta that they cant hit anymore. At this point sparta offer CD a cf which is free with a duration and CD refuse this stating that they are going to op Sparta for the next 17 days.

Why would sparta stop,
CD wont close relations so hostile is still active,

What am i missing here?

Barta claiming us holding relations over their head as justification for razing. Maybe people would be less inclined to want to do such a thing if they weren't so terribly rude.

My favorite part about the land for CF they wanted at the start of this all. If the Bartan's waved us when we left fort, actually ran decent military numbers on their humans, and didn't go out of their way to specifically target honor with their hits. They EASILY could have gotten the 10 or 15% they initially wanted. We offered them their first wave, to take it and move on. They could have gotten all they asked for, waving into a CF is one thing, waving, then saying they need 2, 3, 4 more waves with 0 fighting back is another.

Instead? Wave into full fort(1 tick OoW), wave a kd with plenty of out of range targets, target top honor, gain only 4% of land. Ask for 15, 20% of land (3-4 more waves?). Their demands, the way they went about it, their follow through. They went out of their way to make sure they would do as much damage as possible, while gaining as little as possible, so they could demand more.

It's like a mugger hits you in the shins with a pipe, while your down, he takes your sentimental watch, takes your wallet out of your back pocket. He looks at the wallet and the picture of you with your family. Say's he's going to come back tomorrow and hit your family's shins with his pipe since your watch wasn't good enough for him, unless you agree to give him a better watch tomorrow, your father's more expensive sentimental watch. He gives you back your wallet that all awhile had more money than either watch was worth.

It's like the mugger hits you in the shins with his pipe when you're walking to the bank to cash a cheque. He knew you were going to cash a cheque, and that on your way out of the bank you would have had more money. But on your way in, he mugs you anyways just for pocket change. You decide to deposit the cheque instead of cashing it, then when you come out of the bank with shinguards and a club, he pulls out a gun and shoots you in the kneecap. Again, if he just waited for the man to leave the bank, he could have gotten all that money.

Bart isn't interested in the land, he's interested in inflicting as much pain as he can, if he cared about the land, he would have taken the land, played in a way he could have gotten the land. He deliberately acted and played in a way that caused ill will, and in doing so, we will use the game mechanics to do what we can. Just like he is in razing us.

That might be correct bananamancer2000 however it also means Bart is still in active hostile and allowed to prove the point..

You can't demand a CF and when it comes you refuse to accept it claiming hostiles aren't legit, CD is the KD thats refusing to CF, so Sparta is indeed in a dragged hostile that they can't walk away from, it doesn't matter if CD is in a war, its CD making the threats now, not Bart.

Accept the CF and both move on seems the reasonable and logic choice, refuse and threaten CD leaves Bart no way out other then continue to raze/dismantle your KD until a CF is reached.

(Not taking sides before the whine comes, just explaining it from a logical point of view)

In return, he waves my kd, tries to destroy us - succeeded fairly well, killing our provs - and we're supposed to move on from that and reset the meter? Our round is ruined, so there is zero incentive to clear relations as it doesn't help us.

So so stubborn...

This is RoO and DD bastard spawn. Will Panthira dedicate her time to get revenge on Bart? I hope so!

Combination of sticking it to the Bartans, and having what fun we can. Playing war and getting razed is at least more interesting than twiddling our thumbs and getting razed. After 8 RL days, it's really boring to do nothing. Warring at least motivates our ppl to stay active.

Not been angry for a long time here, but seriously get the **** over yourself and your crying. Is this how you inspire your people? Instead of sobbing perhaps take some inspiration from real KDs. Jesters last age got 16 provs razekilled and finished #2 in land. We've been razekilled and ****ed with plenty but we always bounce back. TThis age we lost our OOP war to last age's Dealbreakers and then lost like 6-7 players. We're still standing here are we not? There is ALWAYS something to play for, although it quite often means that you have to slightly downgrade your expectations.
