Even though he would get better gains in a retal than the attacker due to Kingdom NW if multiple provinces can hit you from that kingdom it wont matter if you can get better gains. They will just hit you 2 for 1/ 3 for 1/ 4 for 1 etc... so the acre difference from the KNRG effect wont help. It's a loose/loose situation for the guy being fed upon.
you nailed it, its better to just send a CF offer and ask the kd to move on.

They wont be good farmland anymore.
not really, he will get gbp and can even better gains, combine that with GS and he can have quite a lot of fun. At the very least it will slow down the kd trying to farm him, and will probably be enough for them to offer a CF. All they want are easy hits - hitting someone that can, and has shown he will, retal will earn you a talking to in most growth kds.

GB protection + GS + KNRG is not going to make a difference if you are getting out hit 4 to 1. It aint happening. Throw in that if you continue to retal they will farm you even harder. Chances are if you are a real pain in the butt they will get their buddies to go after you as well.
The only kingdoms that will CF you are the ones that are concentrating on fast growth ONLY. Which excludes about 95% of the server.
If it's on-going and the ghetto prov is active enough GBP will provide a bucket-load of protection. This is assuming that the big kingdom decides not to use any ops or spells (which is a big assumption to make).

yeah dude bottome feeding me is now 2x my size, and in the number 1 kingdom on the server... i sent is intel to the number 2, 3 and 4 kingdoms and a few other random people his size... we will see how this plan works out... less leaving less than 20 dpa is kind of naked if you ask me...

of course it makes a difference, getting outhit 4-1 means nothing if your 1 hit is bigger than their 4
