I'm playing Elf with 65% draft, 80 Mod OPA w/ Generals, 80 Mod DPA. 1140 acres. Running 15% TG's. Is it worth it to boost TG's to 20%?

First of all this is my first age and I restarted about one week ago.
I random-ed into one of top 100 kd. Now most of them are around 150k-250k nw and 1.3-1.9 acres. From the start, I focus on military training and now I think I have enough force to break most around my size. I want some advices and tips for growth strat to grow as fast as possible. I know my science sucks. I shut down the research to save gc for training.

You need more elites, less banks, and barracks.

Thanks for your insight. I was stuck thinking in the box as an orc attacker. You've made me realize as an orc I only need to make 2 things: Food, & more orcs. By dropping 25% banks I am running, I free up enough land for 10% TD, 10% Hospitals, & & another few %s in rax. My question for you is at what point do you feel that TG stop giving enough offense? I was running 25%, but dropping that to 20% opens some very nice doors(attacking 3 times a day). But I'd hate to give up too much & not be able to hit the turtles.
stick with 20%. TD's? id skip the TD's and rather build something else, homes could be one option. youll need more sci + thieves if you wanna be an a/t. for now just grow some through attacking.
20% tends to be the upper limit for most buildings, but if you're in a position where desperate measures are required, you can press anything up to 50%.
Thieves' dens are only ever useful if you go for offensive actions with your thieves, and then they become mandatory.

I'm already running 25% homes
My general strat looks like this:
Homes:25
Farms: 8
TG: 20
Rax: 12
Hos: 10
Guil: 10
Tow: 5
TD: 10
I'm actually worried that the homes is too much, but it does give me more orcs, and a higher BE. I'm wondering if 10% TD is enough. I'd like to use the thieves to get me horses, supplement my income to help me keep up those leets, & weaken my targets. Seems like a big job for just 10%.
Looks decent enough, but 5% towers won't give you enough runes to do anything at all, and 25% homes is too much.
Up your towers a couple percent, or ditch towers completely, and either steal runes from idiots, or have your teammates give some to you when you need magic.
You want 10-20% thieves' dens, depending on what ops you favor, and how much you rely on T to do damage.
Unless you plan to run hardcore nighstrikes and kidnappings on people, 10% might be enough, since all the loot-ops are easy.
