You're pointing it out but wrong, however. Your argument is basically that I didn't "come up with a strategy" despite no one else in the top 100 kingdoms running more than 2 or 3 halflings, whereas my kingdom ran over 20, and saying I didn't come up with it because there were 3 ghetto provinces that did the same thing. That's easily the stupidest argument ever made on a board filled with stupid arguments.

I willing to acknowledge the fact that your kingdom did in fact run the halfer building swap to great successes however that dose not mean you came up with the strat. It just means you where ballsy enough to try it on a kingdom wide level which i give you kudos for. The fact that it was widely and openly discussed on the forums before the age even started and pretty much the only and obvious way to run halfers that age is the reason i wouldn't give you credit for inventing it.

So you are saying that the hands down 100% best strategy was widely and commonly discussed amongst all the players and yet only 1 kingdom in the top 100 kingdoms used it? This is impossible. I only discovered it about 20 hours before the age started (had it been discussed I would have discovered it sooner) and I spent about 6 hours convincing my co-monarch that it was the way to go and then rushed to get my kingdom to all pick the race setup at the last minute (we had no IRC). I didn't discover it by reading it somewhere, I didn't discover it by talking to someone else, I came up with it on my own.

My co-monarch was one of the strongest players in the game (EEKthedog) and the fact that it took me hours to convince him and the fact that I didn't see it sooner means it was by no means an obvious strategy. Amongst the top kingdoms halfling was widely dismissed as one of the worst races before the age started that age.

From my recollection there were about 3 ghetto provinces who did the same thing, likely after seeing us do it to such success.

The final argument is that you will not find a single knowledgable person who played back in those times that wouldn't say "rotating halfer, yeah flogger came up with that" if asked. You are the only person who has this opinion.

Whatever dude =) I'm sure Edison didn't think he stole the light bulb either. Your a good Player and have a sound strategic mind i just don't get why you feel like you gotta toot your own horn and take credit for things people KNOW you didn't come up with. Why not just take credit for the things you did or better yet KNOW how good you are and have some confidence in that then you won't find the need to brag at all. Humility with great success says far more about a person than they could ever say about themselves.
