There was no cowing this age for anyone and we chose human merchants for the same reason you chose them, neither kingdom had cows yet when that option was available to both kingdoms. That's easy to say now, isn't it? Didn't you have an agreement that prevented you from exploring them? And if you did you could be noticed? There was a strong possibility you would have doubled up sooner or later (by that time there was quite a bit of info on explore cost already). Prior to the fight with sword though, you had little choice but to explore your pool on faeries as your humans would never be safe against the core from sword.

Also if you look at forum posts I have not been making any egotistical comments so I am not sure what you are alluding to, its all water under the bridge for me. Hence I was surprised to see seasoned players from your kingdom behaving in such a fashion. You guys are not newbies and understand that at this level everyone wins and loses. You have all won and lost to each other so acting in a superior fashion is not really representative of the underlying the results.

Your a good Player and have a sound strategic mind i just don't get why you feel like you gotta toot your own horn and take credit for things people KNOW you didn't come up with. Why not just take credit for the things you did or better yet KNOW how good you are and have some confidence in that then you won't find the need to brag at all. Humility with great success says far more about a person than they could ever say about themselves.

I tried to tell flogger a age or two ago that most of the things he thinks hes come up with that are "new and innovative" has been done a VERY long time ago and is nothing overly impressive. It seems he didn't play back then or has a VERY warped memory of the times... Next age sword will run WH banks, keep them very small early age to farm honor up to prince and then launch them and he will claim to be Hodif as well.

You seem to don't know flogger very well even if you played with him. You also don't seem to have played then since you refer to HoDF as "hodif". You also seem to be clueless by thinking anyone can still 'copy' HoDF's strategy.

Prot, i miss spell a lot of stuff HoDF isn't one that's caught by my spell check, need a utopia update for spellings and abbreviations i guess. Also your right you wouldn't be able to use raze attacks to gain honor and stay at a small size and you wouldn't get any benefits past prince (thus the reason i suggested they would only go to prince). however you could use intra kingdom raze to keep the provinces small (people do this already and im sure if you asked any of them where they got the idea they would say HoDF). Prince honor with a WH bonus for a bank (who will mostly see provinces in its range with far less honor) is still quite overpowering endless you think that the extra time other banks would have to pump science at a larger size would offset the +33% pop space the honor would gain you. While that strat isn't EXACTLY the same as HoDF's its close enough to be "based on it" and thus the reason i would give credit to HoDF for it. Are you implying because you have to use a different attack type and have your kingdom raze you in order to achieve the exact same thing HoDF did (although on a lesser scale) makes it a different strat all together? what is it that i did not understand there?

You dont seem to realize the magnitude of bonuses HoDF had. She had over 1k ppa if i remember corectly and quadriple fame efects w/o hard cap.
She was strongest prov on server even at very small acres. Any competitive KD who would farm out wh prince for bank would just have it razekilled immidiatelly since those petit bonuses wouldnt keep province safe from others.

Thats just the most obvious ... theres like hundread reasons your scenqrio isnt plausible.

My co-monarch was one of the strongest players in the game (EEKthedog) and the fact that it took me hours to convince him and the fact that I didn't see it sooner means it was by no means an obvious strategy.

Getting a prince war hero now would require a totally different strategy than HoDF, yes.

What you display there, is an idea. You have an idea of a prince war hero cow, but how are you going to get there? You want to call dibs on the strategy now because you mention "intra raze to stay small" and "farm honor in war"? Where is the rest? How are you going to get large? How are you going to counter the mechanic changes for the explore pool and explore cost? How do you prevent being razekilled before you get shot up?

I bet we'll see you brag on the forums here if someone magically gets a prince war hero cow up claiming it was your strategy ;p

Prot did you even read my posts. I used an example of a strat that would clearly have its bases routed in the HoDF strat and then said Flogger was going to run it in his kingdom and take full credit for coming up with the strat. I was being sarcastic, I don't actually expect sword to do this (except for taking credit for strays he didn't invent that I would believe) infact with all the new obsticals I don't expect anyone to do it. I wasn't trying to "call dibs" on a strat or even form a fully detailed strat. I was merely implying that flogger claiming to have invented home flopping was simalar to my example. You should try comprehending things that you read before you respond to them lol.

I didn't assume anything korp, I just remember the age. Halfers sucked numbers wise, which flogger said himself. The only thing they had going for them was the land swap ability, which turned out to be vastly overpowered. The larger majority of the server thought that the land swaping wouldn't be nearly powerful enough to make up for thier ****ty numbers and so they didn't run them or atleast not in large numbers. Pretty much the only reason to run a halfer that age was to attempt the land swap strat, I'm sure there was some nubs that played halfer not intending to swap (like the guy running the mystic orc this age, see that's an example of some one running a race outside the optimal way to play it) but if you had skills and played halfer the land swap was the reason. I can remember tons of pre age discussion on the subject and that was my main point, if everyone and there mom could see the strat it dosnt really have an inventor it was just the obvious strat for that race (it just happend to be more effective than people expected) claiming you invented it is like claiming that you invented the " attacker" strat for orcs or the "turtle t/m" strat for faerys.
