I have a sour taste in my mouth admittedly. Can you blame me? I am not getting personal with anyone, I just think the way the developers dealt with it was was wrong and completely inconsistent with previous situations. Debauchery having WW reset, kingdoms getting kicked out of war instantly, province deletion, etc.
Bishop wasn't the one dealing with that situation actually. In fact 've seen logs of him admitting the situation was a load of ****, but there was nothing he could do about it, as it was the dev's decision.
OK maybe it was not full length, but SWEA were granted a long enough eowcf to prevent AMA from being able to do ANYTHING to stop them from crowning. They were able to pump the 100k acres they were given. How the **** does anyone compete with that? It was impossible. Period.
I was in AMA last age, I am ghettoing this age for multiple reasons SWEA can't take credit for.
How long did they get exactly? Why did they even get one? They got 100k free acres and you let them pump using them, with cheaper troops and huge protection from outside attacks. All this being less than a week before the age ended. If you think them having the acres and not getting to pump on them was unfair (lower wpa, bpa etc) then remove the acres, don't give them free land AND diplomatic immunity.
I really hope farm outs don't rear their ugly head again this age. It doesn't effect me personally any more, but it makes Utopia **** to play. What the hell is the point of playing a game for 3 months when a kingdom of trolls can just feed out acres and prevent anyone else from having any chance to win? Especially considering the lack of kingdoms competing for the crown these days.
Absolutely agree.
Pewpew farmed out over a third of their land intentionally. Do you really think 48 hours suspension means anything? To be honest even if the entire kingdom was deleted, their goal was still accomplished. Still, it was a pathetic excuse of a 'punishment'.
Fear the man who has nothing to lose
There was zero communication from the game devs with the kingdoms whom were not 'directly involved'. Well AMA were effected pretty directly, but we didn't have a clue what was going on.
Database management doesn't seem to be the game dev's strong point.
We need some sort of official punishment guidelines for these situations. You can't slap one guy on the wrist, then lock the other dude away for ten years. Consistency please. Consistency is fair and all I ask.
Aye, it was not Bishop. Bishop was actually very decent during the whole situation (and he actually communicated with players), despite being unable to influence the decisions of divine Utopian gods.
I find it highly amusing that people that do not play the game get to make in game decisions.
