Please. We would've won the war easily, but we wanted to maximize growth - not rack up WW's. Simply, we judged hitting into war as more profitable than waving into fort and thus saw that as an acceptable course of action should we not be able to pressure Strippers to take us to war. We hedged our bets so that even if we lost (Strippers chose not to war) we would still come out on top (gaining land).
