Protector, you said it yourself. Your asking for acres in exchange for a CF or a war. How is that different from what CR did last age? Why isnt somebody complaining now? Different KD, different rules? Or doesnt it aply because pew2 is in declare range? We all know it would be a massive farmfest for BB if it went to war now.

I dont think ama or bb did much wrong here pushing for wars. I am just really suprised by the lvl of hypocracy from certain people in both KD's who cried all of last age when CR used its position but stay silent now or even defend it because ama/bb are doing it.

1. I don't remember crying or even talking about CR last age other than the OOP vulture on us. Certainly don't remember complaining about you hitting someone next to you on the charts.
2. I've lead plenty of wars where things were tough or unlikely going in. Pyro last age, the 0 vs 3 to Rage age. Sometimes its fun trying to beat a kingdom from behind. We could have even won the pyro one last age if we played better and/or they made more mistakes. I just recall struggling because I didn't have a clear strategy in mind.
3. I agree with shiester the bouncing mechanic is bad. On the flip side, bouncing only hurts really large provinces, which are greatly overpowered. There's nothing wrong with using a mechanic that everyone is aware exists and is part of strategies and has been for a few ages. For example, when talking with Pew's cow earlier (Ryan) about his potential fight with AMA a few weeks ago, his main strategic point was that his dwarves should have the bouncing advantage and that was going to be their strategy. On the flip side, if I Was still leading I think I probably try and talk to pew to come up with a solution to make them happy.
4. I've heard a few ppl in relation to BB talk about trying to deny us a crown. When a kds main leader doesn't have a province and hasn't logged on in 2 weeks, basing your own strategy on trying to deny a kd a crown is fairly silly, since clearly we care a great deal. Its more fun to do what we did vs pyro last age, if you find yourself in a disadvantage, come up with an idea to have some fun for both sides and go with it, ala us vs Pyro last age. Its not that difficult.

elit if your age is a success why QQ and threaten 3D for RBL? and pew didnt run from anything. why go into war knowingyou will lose this war and shape charts? Ryan fracked things up while Tox was away. so we had a choice. go to war with BB (which i was excited about) and farm out to them or raze our acres so no one gets them. i got bent over when we extended CF to AMA. i was NOT going to bend over for BB. in my opinion it was a good call for pewpew. also i do not speak for pew and this is just my opinion. i really wanted a fun war with kuhan. i joined pewpew just for war forums and the excitment of warring ama and simians and the likes. but i also refuse to fight a war that would ensure our total destruction. BB you guys did good preparing and maybe one day i will get to be in a war against you.

PewPew, a Brief History

Age 57: Pew gets into a conflict with Rage, Rage decides to milk a hostile for longer than anticipated. Rather than war and lose, Pew resets all their provinces so Rage cannot double crown. Pew finishes somewhere in the top 100.
Age 58: Pew donates like 100k acres to SWEA in a war deemed actionable by mods. They do so to prevent AMA from crowning, and to avoid AMA taking their acres. Pew finishes 12th.
Age 59: Pew "loses" ~50k acres to RBL in a conflict where half their outgoing attacks were learns. They have two "arranged wars" with ED (to prevent AMA from taking acres), Ryan wins the land crown and joins Pew the next age (surprise?) Pew finishes 10th.
Age 60: Pew heartily gangbangs AMA late-age. They finish in 2nd after a farm war with legacy nets them like 35-40k acres.
Age 61: Pew intra-razes cows so BB can't get many acres; they post veiled threats like "BB will not crown this age."

Pretty much every person I've spoken with in Pew (binar, bungarm, chrystal, etc) seems like a cool person. But from a kingdom-level perspective, seriously what gives? Is this a history you guys are proud of?

4 out of the last 5 ages, when you were faced with a sizable conflict in the top 5, you gave up in one way or another and bailed, several times resorting to scummy and questionable mechanics use?

How do you guys work so hard for weeks on end, just to throw it all away with no integrity or pride whatsoever? Are you that spiteful? I honestly don't get it.
