Problem FS have is that ED is casual enough to not really give a damn about winning anything ingame as most players have already crowned when they game was actually "good", but players are commited enough to actually turn up when needed.

The fact there's a lot of older players also means there's a fair bit of ego in ED, not in a bad way like some players I can think of, but Parth clearly knows how to run KDs and his mouth to get maximum enjoyment out of people who wrong us. Then there's tools like me who think this is a war game so will war and grudge out anyone who even looks at us funny if I had my own way.

Realistically Francis was told how ED works, I linked him our 80+ page drama thread covering multiple wars/PKs/grudges spanning ages, Parth and others told him here's the offer take it or leave it & they left it for 2 weeks hitting ED. FS failed to do due diligence checks on ED and the likelyhood of what they were told being true, so we have this position now.

I might be a stubbon arse, but even I would have been able to look at last age and see both KDs view points to come to the conclusion that if I was FS then yes the time wasted prepping for ED would have sucked, but it also was our own making after being told we'd not get war if explored and dragged hostile. Wouldn't have started trying to raze kill people for 2 week conflict knowing we'd get shafted in the future.
