Creating a new seperate alliance to RK anyone who posts more than 3 paragraphs per post
can single sentences constitute a paragraph?
Do we need multiple sentences?
Who decides what constitutes a paragraph?
Please tell me if I am compliant or not.

I'd like to point out for the record, we wanted to war ED but they wouldn't push the button that was simply handed to them. We were in fort, and came out full war build ready to war ED. It seems as though ED was full war build as well, we really thought they were going to push the button on us and war us. At the time of our button giving wave ED was simply farming FS, FS was in no position to war them at all.
It turns out that ED wasn't looking for a war the entire time, they were just looking for some good ol' fashioned payback on FS. Unfortunately for them, they didn't come to the aid of those that were victim of Emeriti alliance, and FS did.
Long story short, ED you should have declared on us, why the hell didn't you do it? You weren't looking for a war at all.

My personal take from my time talking with Francis is he's one of the more rational people I've chatted with in this day and age and I tend to agree when he speaks about a variety of subjects. If he tells me he woulda CF'd for something as small as a wave and I've seen private council logs of Parth saying he'd CF for giving 2 waves, one or both of the two of you need to look in the mirror and figure out why a CF wasn't made, and spare the rest of your kds the needless grudge, cause someone screwed up here. Probably the best thing is to stop slinging mud and figure out which one of ya messed that up, own up to it, and move on. Cause there's literally no reason this game has to be so hate filled.

Grudges are for those who insist that they are owed something; forgiveness, however, is for those who are substantial enough to move on

I know I said I wouldn't post related to these conflicts anymore but seeing how this discussion might take a turn for the better, mostly after Citadela's recent post and some others, I'm inclined to do so anyway and hopefully this post is going in the same direction (you be the judge of that). Citadela mentions quite a few things that I already mentioned in some of my previous posts but he expands on it with his own views of the situation and expresses what he would like to see happen in the future. He also adds that both sides are to blame, since I just recently joined FS I didn't feel the liberty to take responsibility for some of the actions FS took as a whole KD (I can only speak for myself), but my implied stance on the matter can be read out because I mention this.
I would, however, like to stress out a couple of general points that people seem to be forgetting (unconsciously or otherwise):
1st) CF agreements are usually made to avoid wars, not to arrange them, so an offer to give button is not actually a CF offer now is it?
2nd) I haven't seen any protection towards FS in the regular Utopian diplomacy so far. Most recently (after the ED-FS conflict) FS took a wave from a KD that wanted a war, FS leadership informed that KD that FS is in no shape to fight at the moment and needs time to consolidate it's position, a CF agreement was made, the KD in question finished their wave and accepted the CF offer. Case closed. I trust we can agree that this is reasonable and standard Utopian diplomacy and no interference had been made nor did the KD waving FS suffer a treatment that would be any different if they waved any other reasonable KD.
Why I really couldn't help myself not to post was a little psychology lesson that follows. It's very basic really and if you ever read or heard anything on group dynamics you are already aware of this but we as humans tend to forget things and often don't see ourselves as victims of our own limited minds. There's many articles where you can read up on this like this one: http://www.spring.org.uk/2007/11/why...es-form-so.php. I suggest reading it if you are not already familiar with this. TL; DR: even though it might be hard to reconcile with this, members of FS or ED are probably not baby eating monsters, it's just our brains are wired to think so because they belong to another group. What separates us from other animals is that we have a choice and don't have to act on instinct all the time, so lets use our brains to our advantage, not to our detriment. That said, I also agree with bombdigie to an extent, since this is just a game we may even just embrace our primal instincts for what they are in order to have some harmless fun or relieve some stress from the daily rutine, but lets not lose sight of that this is just a game and even though it's the internet treating others with respect is usually a good thing.

Francis, rational or not, is a jackass and full of ****. Thats how this whole thing started, with FS bullying us around for two weeks. This thing with them wanting to CF for a wave came up now, when they were in trouble, and neither side could find even a fart of evidence of it having any merit. Let me ask you, if youve been hit for four days, would you go to the other side and offer them compensation? If you had been hit for seven days, or eleven, would you walk up and offer them a gift? Im a firm believer of treating people in the game fairly, and not asking for more then what is juste. From this age back to whenever anyone can remember ED, can anyone bring an example of us wanting more then one wave for anything (Without a solid grudge from before in place)? People in CR council can surely remember me quitting over not getting a firm no b2b war policy in place, I just dislike coming back for more after winning. Same thing made us throw an age when we were ED was whoring, that ****turd elit wanting more then a win. This is very different from how FS / FS leadership feels about things in the game, and therefor I think we will have a hard time reconcile.
Just a couple of points:
1) I don't have "proof" of anything I talk about on IRC. I don't keep logs. Now with Whatsapp and text messages I have some records. Lack of saving logs doesn't mean one side is innocent or guilty.
2) If you've been hit for a few days and aren't going to win, yeah, I generally see what they want and give it to em and if I think they're unreasonable I get em back later in a different age. I don't think I've ever had a 3 day hostile I was losing where I refused to give up let alone a 3 week one.
You generally have a reputation as a hothead not to be messed with. We've never really encountered each other because I usually avoid people with those reputations. Coss has that reputatlon too. Elit and anri are other people who people seem to make long grudges with as well. I haven't really ever fought any of them since I came to the conclusion it was best to not start 10-age long grudges. Having that reputation has some benefits.
The one downside is if you find yourself in a 3 week hostile you're losing most neutral people will think you were just being a hothead, though. How many profanity laced statements were made during your FS diplo last age?
